But here is the funny fact - it was a false-start last week when someone spotted a student work dedicated to John Lewis Christmas topic and push it through social web and medias so it gained a million of views. But lets watch original one and compare it to previous ads from year 2015, 2014 and 2013
Dazzle Ship helped launch the Drone Racing League by designing a broadcast package for their first TV series. Drone racing is a cutting-edge new sport at the forefront of emerging technology. DRL’s insane courses and professional sports media stand to redefine the meaning of sport.
From a creative perspective, branding a sport that doesn’t yet exist beyond the imagination of a few individuals was a challenging task. We struck a balance between educating viewers on the real-world aspect of the sport while transporting them into a futuristic science fiction environment that would represent the experience of drone racing.
This made DRL feel exciting, fast paced and futuristic.
DRL is the first-ever professional race series for first-person-view (FPV) drone racing, bringing together the world’s best pilots to fly DRL Racer 2 quadcopters head-to-head through neon-lit environments in the quest for the planet’s best FPV pilot. An early DRL YouTube teaser went viral in January, racking up almost two million views with tantalising footage of the world’s most exciting new sport.

New York based studio DIA just completed a branding for wellness company Primary using generative graphic design approach
“We began collaborating with the Primary team before a space was secured, allowing the brand strategy and identity to help inform the overall feeling of the space. The Primary identity is based on specific color psychology. We developed a generative based platform that creates unique logos depending on desired moods or time of day. The mix of colors help shape the atmosphere of a room, office or specific piece of collateral. Different hues are used for different activities. For example, a Bikram yoga class would involve more heat and intensity than a meditation class, so the colors would vary accordingly. Additionally, each member or employee will be given an individual sphere matching their personality. The identity is a living and breathing experience that can evolve and change.”

Last year Sagmeister & Walsh created 3d environments inspired by 2d pop art paintings with the help of body painter Anastasia Durasova and set builds by Sing-Sing. This year, along with the same team, they brought psychedelic and constructivist worlds to life, complete with trippy optical illusions and a pink painted horse. Images will be on billboards, in magazines, newspapers, and in stores across the middle east at Aizone stores.

Buenos Aires based team of PLENTY released an awesome motion design case where merely no 3D design was involved apart from projection mapping tools. Watch the video and making of below
“We embarked on an amazing adventure with our dear friends from DIRECTV to take on a creative and production process we had never done before, mostly because we developed a CG production but ended up recreating Rio de Janeiro in MDF and 3D printing 10 statues representing different sports disciplines and the 2 most important Olympic Stadiums in Rio in order to film everything and add projection mapping. The whole production is real, we only did color correction. The piece wasn’t intended for advertising but to create an artistic representation of what the Olympic Games symbolize for the brand, which is a Colossal and Beautiful moment.”

Executed using seamless design and hyper-real CG, we drew inspiration from engineering blueprints, as each spot captures the awe-inspiring process that starts with a single spark in the mind of a Boeing engineer, and finishes with a gravity defying roar of an engine taking a machine to unprecedented altitudes. From the historical, 1916 B&W plane to the 787 Dreamliner, Boeing products come alive, celebrating 100 years of technological triumphs in Space, Defense and Commercial travel.”

Design studio OK-RM has devised a striking graphic identity for Under the Same Sun, an exhibition of contemporary art from Latin America at the South London Gallery.
OK-RM created a new identity for the exhibition to coincide with its move to London. The design combines eye-popping brights with playful type and bold graphic shapes: OK-RM says it represents “an embedded energy in Latin American art and culture” and “a unique relationship with the Modernist canon.”

World leading projection mapping studio SILA SVETA released their fresh showreel
“Method Design was tapped by production company RSA to concept and create this year’s sponsor reel for AICP at the MoMA The AICP awards celebrate global creativity within commercial production. Method Design wanted to create an entertaining piece of design that encapsulates the innovative and prolific nature of this industry. Our aim was to showcase the AICP sponsors as various dancing avatars which playfully reference the visual effects used throughout production. Motion capture, procedural animation and dynamic simulations combine to create a milieu of iconic pop dance moves that become an explosion of colorful fur, feathers, particles and more.”

The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau was created in 1971 at the joint initiative of the Paris City Council and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry*. It carries out three specific missions: Welcome and informing visitors, and promoting the destination in France and abroad.
Last year the approached Graphéine studio to create a concept that covers the whole identity, then "Paris Passlib" tourist pass and Information Points redesign.

Sagmeister & Walsh (together with Daniel Brokstad, Fumi Omori, Liron Ashkenazi, Pol Solsona, Simón Sepúlveda, Zipeng Zhu, Esteban Diácono, Karan Singh, Pedro Veneziano and Pablo Alfieri) created a lively visual identity for Appy Fizz, India's first ever sparkling apple juice drink.
“The new Appy Fizz identity visualizes carbonated bubbles through a dynamic graphic language of 3d spheres and circles. From the print campaign to the television commercial, this circular language in the bold red/white/black color palette unites the various mediums with a distinct look and feel. We worked with brand ambassador & Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra for the TVC to create a bold film for Appy Fizz. In the film Priyanka “sheds” the sweeter tone of the brands past for a strong, bold, sexier tone that will continue for future campaigns. ”
