Floral artist Lewis Miller (previously) and his talented team arrange beautiful blooms in the most unexpected places in New York City. For nearly 3 years with his company, Lewis Miller Design, they worked on a very cleaver guerrilla marketing campaign: “flower flashes”, where they transformed trash cans into larger-than-life flower vases and used blooms to embellish the streets of New York, as well as the subways as public art.

In celebration of the 2019 summer season at South Street Seaport, The Seaport District approached Wade Jeffree and Leta Sobierajski (or simply creative duo Wade&Leta) to create a large scale series of sculptures to liven the district for the summer of 2019. Inspired by coral and camouflage and the languid movements of algae and seaweed, their sculptures drift and sway as if being gently pushed by an underwater current.
They wanted to emulate the feeling of drifting through an unexplored world splashed with color and pattern by creating cavernous structures that would evoke an overwhelming seascape of multi-dimensional sculptures of varying heights and colours. A material inspiration comes from the nearby boats that have been docked at the Seaport’s harbour over many years; like boats, the material will gradually weather over time, replicating the way elements shift and change our environmental landscape as the seasons progress
Artrium is a new space born in Moscow a year ago and you may remember calligraphy artist Pokras Lampas doing his work inside pedestrian passage last year. This year team @ArtriumMoscow went further and invited world leading street artists to create legend murals from the walls of the building.

Kitt Bennett is a Melbourne based artist, specialising in illustration and murals. He paints large illustrative murals on the ground. The almost literal “street” art is best seen from a bird’s eye view and features people, objects, and skeletons that contort around their respective spaces as if they fell from the sky.
Shane O’Malley is an Irish artist who has emerged from Ireland’s vibrant graffiti subculture. He works in the mediums of paint, murals and art installations, creates art workshops and corporate art projects. Originally from Navan, Shane now resides in Galway city and has exhibited and painted nationally and internationally.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Louvre Pyramid, @JR is creating a collaborative piece of art on the scale of the Napoleon Court. Three years after having made the Pyramid disappear, the street artist is about to bring a new light to the famed monument by realizing a gigantic collage.

The new guerrilla graffiti work of world famous 1UP street art group becomes an unofficial music video for Modeselektor “One United Power”. The 1UP (@up_crew_official) Crew hit the famous Bangkok Ghost Tower for the third time. In 2011 it was painted for the first time, but it got buffed 3 years later. The Crew had to come back to paint it a second time. 2017 it got buffed again and the crew booked new tickets to Bangkok in 2019
World leading calligraphy artist Pokras Lampas breaks fashion frontiers with his new capsule collection made in collaboration with Saint-Petersburg Fashion Store “DLT” (formal store of Russian Empire Guards Society, 1908-1916). For this case, Pokras, famous for his love to huge scales, live-painted a 30sq meters of denim and cloth during the fully packed event. The concept of collection lays in the intersection of ready-made thing, brush strokes, the work of artist and the high tempo of modern time. No doubts exclusive hoodies and cardigans are going to be sold out in a few hours today. To show the connection with a place, in his case - Saint-Petersburg, Pokras denied online sales for this collection. But world-wide fan base can still purchase his merch on @pokrasofficial
World leading calligraphy artist Pokras Lampas has just beat his own record on doing the largest calligraphy ever drawn by one person. You can see his previous biggest roofs done for FENDI or Red October but here is another story

The new record was set within the framework of collaboration with Lokomotiv football club — the artist painted the square in front of RZD Arena (team’s home ground in Cherkizovo) in red and green — the reigningchampions’ club colors. The painting covers the area of 11,000 square meters.

The choice of location for the new art object was deliberate. Back in the Soviet days Cherkizovsky Parkused to bring art and sport together. The Stalinets stadium built here in 1935, was lavishly decorated with sculptures. The most famous among them was, perhaps, “The girl with an Oar” by Romuald Iodko — its four-meter copy printed on a 3D printer this simmer was painted by Pokras Lampas for Gorky Park. The new stadium built on the site of Stalinets has become a well-known arena for not just football games but also for first rate entertainment, art performances and concerts, it is used for shooting episodes about football.
According to Pokras Lampas, his new artwork brings together sport and art, taking up such topics as pushing the limits and conquering new peaks. As usual, Pokras encrypts a hidden message in his massive calligraffiti to be found and revealed by the audience. A shining example of profound symbolism and powerful meaning to be recognized is the installation “18 words about Vasily Vereshchagin” at the entrance to the New Tretyakov Gallery. The art object nearby RZD Arena has been no exception, as it implies a new slogan of Locomotiv which is “We go our (own) way”.

“Only by remaining independent, believing in your own values and overcoming difficulties, you can leave a mark on history. In sports the same laws apply, and only those who remain committed to their goals, no matter what, reach the highest level. “We go our way” is a vector of development which is very close to me as an artist. The line is written in numerous languages — it emphasizes multiculturalism of modern sport.”
The mural «Д ¥ Ā Л И З М» (Dualism) has appeared on the inner wall of the WYNWOOD design hotel at the very heart of St. Petersburg. The artist’s lecture will take a place there on August 2, 2018.
Collaboration between POKRAS LAMPAS and the WYNWOOD design hotel is not accidental. Modern musicians and artists from all over the world stay here, fashionable St. Petersburg citizens go for breakfasts or brunches. The main sights of the city, clubs and bars, museums are just nearby.
“WYNWOOD hotel is located at the very heart of the city and is literally surrounded by the art.
Half of the rooms have a magnificent view of the Kazan Cathedral and the Griboyedov Canal,
and the second part of the rooms overlook the courtyard on the brandmauer (firewall) with a
typical for St. Petersburg “gray” view. So, there was an idea to turn this wall into an art object
and entrust its execution to the most famous street artist in Russia.”
Lampas’s work «Д ¥ Ā Л И З М» is a Manifesto, dedicated to the duality of the perception of contemporary art. Its text in two languages, helping the viewer to explore both differences between alphabets and cultural references in the forms of letters, and combining them into the context of calligraphy of the future. Dualism also reflects in the choice of color: the left part of the work is closer to the original range of the facade, while the right part is more contrast. Together they form the complete picture. The text itself is a Manifesto of Millennials with the values of past generations, made by borrowing the forms of letters from western and eastern, ancient and modern calligraphy. «Д ¥ Ā Л И З М» is the largest mural by Pokras Lampas in St.Petersburg — it covers an area of more than 250 square meters.

It was not even a week since a beastie boy of Russian art calligraphy Pokras Lampas shares a new worldwide collaboration he made for Reebok. The company commissioned artist to create a print with a hidden message "Cross Fit" he did in his own style "calligrafuturism".

"Trevor Wheatley and Cosmo Dean work together to create large installations based around phrases and logos that are part of the common lexicon. Casually used terms like “all good” and the shrug emoji take on larger-than-life dimensions in the duo’s three dimensional versions, which are suspended from cables, integrated into chain link fences, toted in truck beds, and painted alongside graffiti. Wheatley and Dean have partnered with music festivals, fashion brands, and the creative house Justkids to install their work. Chubby Hearts Over London is a design project conceived by Anya Hindmarch as a love letter to London and supported by the Mayor of London, the British Fashion Council and the City of Westminster.
Starting on Valentine's Day and continuing throughout London Fashion Week, giant chubby heart balloons will be suspended over (and sometimes squashed within) London landmarks as a declaration of love to the city. The balloons will disappear each evening and appear again in a different location the next day.
