Sticker.Place Collaboration for iMessage
There is nothing new using and creating custom stickers in mobile chat applications. The latest and greatest addition to the family of such applications and development platform was done by Apple few days ago. After their massive release of iOS 10, the iMessage, at last, got its own stickers (that are applications themselves).
In a matter of a day I was contacted by team behind Stickers.Place collaboration. Guys invited talented illustrators to create stickers packs for iMessage and created a platform where any illustrator can join, create and share the best emotional stickers with audience.

Honeycomb Staircase for NYC Hudson Yards by Thomas Heatherwick
Citing Dezeen
"British designer Thomas Heatherwick has revealed a honeycomb-like structure comprising a series of interconnected staircases to sit at the centre of the vast Hudson Yards development on Manhattan's West Side. Named Vessel, the giant sculpture was unveiled today by Heatherwick and New York mayor Bill de Blasio as "the centrepiece to a grand new public space" in the under-construction neighbourhood.
It will sit in a public plaza and gardens designed by Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, and among 16 skyscrapers underway as part of the city's largest urban development since the 1930s Rockefeller Center. The structure comprises a series of metal-clad staircases and landings that connect to form a honeycomb pattern in the shape of a tall vase or urn."
“The goal became to lift people up to be more visible and to enjoy new views and perspectives of each other. The idea is that it will act as a new free stage set for the city and form a new public gathering place for New Yorkers and visitors”
LOOKOUTS
Sponsored Submission on DCN Platform by Red Gate Films
On their final trial as village LOOKOUTS™, a troop of young scouts are ambushed by the very creature they were hunting. After a violent battle the lone survivor, Pehn, escapes into the shadows of the Eyrewood™, a mysterious and deadly forest that is home to all manner of wild creatures. The most horrifying of all is the Basilisk, a winged titan with the power to turn its prey into stone. This is the beast the troop of LOOKOUTS™ were seeking, and now it hunts for Pehn.
This short film is our first exploration into classic narrative filmmaking and it was an absolute joy to create. It’s based on a popular webcomic created by Penny Arcade®. LOOKOUTS™ gave us an opportunity to explore new storytelling techniques as well as play with gear and tools in a format outside of advertising. The majority of the film is shot practically with live visual effects. We built sets, costumes, and monsters then brought all those resources together with a wonderful cast and crew into the misty overgrowth of Mendocino’s redwood forests for a production experience we’ll forever cherish.
