Vratislav Pecka, known in the art world as PosterLad, is a celebrated artist renowned for his minimalist and colourful designs. Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Pecka's journey to artistry began after graduating from film school as a video editor.

Discovering his passion for graphic design, he co-founded Pecka Studio and worked with prestigious clients like Adobe and HP. His art, influenced by the Bauhaus movement and 90s nostalgia, emphasises basic shapes and vivid colours. With exhibitions across four continents and a book titled "PosterLad: Colorful Minimalism," Pecka's work transcends traditional poster use, aiming to captivate visually and please the observer.

Analogue, abstract and grotesque artist Jana Stýblová shares her vision

“Each piece I create embodies the goal of merging the analogue/physical and digital. I begin a new piece by first making a painting on canvas with acrylic paint, spray paint and occasionally other chemicals. While the paint is still wet and malleable, I photograph the canvas both regularly and at a macro scale, revealing some of the more alien details the paint may create by interacting with itself. Once I have a set of sometimes hundreds of photos, I select the ones that strike me as most otherworldly or ones that would work well as a landscape foundation.”

”I bring these photographs into Photoshop and begin building, layering, cutting and seaming—slowly playing with density to reveal something that doesn't look paint-like at all. Often I will add gradients at this stage before running this preliminary collage through a pixel sorting bit of code in Processing. Pixel sorting is a technique invented by Kim Asendorf in 2010—I like to work with analogue methods, but have a deep respect and awe of code, combining the two in the NFT / Digital Art space is what, to me, solidifies the art as a digital work, rather than physical. “

"At his upcoming exhibition at Prague’s National Gallery, Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei continues his investigation into the European refugee crisis. A refugee himself, Ai’s latest body of work has preoccupied him since the onset of the mass migration of people fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East and Africa for Europe in 2015."

"The exhibition, titled “Law of the Journey,” takes place against the backdrop of an Austrian proposal to cut European Union subsidies to member states refusing to participate in the EU’s refugee relocation program. According to Sputnik News, the Czech Republic has been reluctant to accept refugees from Italy and Greece in recent weeks."

Digital artist Filip Hodas depicting dreamscapes of floating objects in striking colours. Based in Prague, the 23-year-old graphic designer started doing one digital rendering a day in 2015. Says Hodas about the motivation behind his work: “In 2015 I started doing daily renders to improve my 3D workflow and explore possibilities of Cinema 4D, Octane render and bunch of other tools.”

The Macula: Archifon

Literally I was mesmerized till the end of this video presenting controllable mapping inside lomouc Baroque Chapel, Czech. Prague based media studio The Macula uses mapping projection to turn the cathedral interior to the large music installation with interactive elements activated by laser points. I think this case has a huge potentials in educational entertainments for kids and grown-ups.
