Yago Partal Defragmentados
Defragmentados is an amazing serie of photography created by Yago Partal. This spanish artist shot a man’s portraits re-creating a fragmented effect thanks to some photo manipulation. The whole serie is quite stunning. via
Paolo Troilo
Instead of using paintbrushes, Italian artist Paolo Troilo dips his fingers into jars of black and white paint, and then smudges and splashes it onto large canvases. Each hand stroke is expressive and filtered into his subject matter of nude men yelling and fighting. via

What if Picasso and Rembrandt had met to have cocktails in 1953? You can imagine the talks they would have had: electric, inspired, and maybe even heated. The work that could have spawned from such a conversation might have looked a bit like that of Cesar Santos. His paintings seemingly bring the works of masters – from the Renaissance to the nineteenth century to Modernism – together, juxtaposing their styles one on top of the other. He call the series (and it is) Syncretism

Few years later she set up a gallery and then through a series of exhibition appeared to represent Great Russian at the Venice Biennale in 2011. Naked Silhouette Alphabet
"The photographic series NAKED SILHOUETTE ALPHABET is a latin alphabet art, formed by the naked body and performance of experimental textures that depict the silhouette." says the creator Anastasia Mastrakouli
In this series the goal is to highlight the dialectical relationship between anatomy and visual arts. Each image displays the way in which the body turns into one illustrative and choreographic communication channel of a message. The body is cut off from its physical nature and is perceived as an imprint. The body shape becomes a letter through a deliberately abstract and other-worldly aesthetic.

The Heart and The Sea
I think everyone blocked in Northern Hemisphere is waiting at least for a spring and at a best for a summer. Let's dream about it with lucky Australian filmmaker Nathan Oldfield Over three years in the making, 'The Heart & The Sea' explores the joy that lies at the very centre of a surfing life: family, friends & a shared intimacy with the sea. Filmed in Australia, New Zealand, France & Spain, this is a gently refreshing & quietly enchanting contribution to the surf film genre. http://vimeo.com/49951982#
