As you may mentioned by surfing current fashion and lifestyle trends the history is repeating but with a modern twist. And while the geek part of the world is waiting for the next iWatches to tell them how many steps they go and how many chances they have we'd rather check the tea time on this modern days tic-tac clocks. Thanks for Swedish designers at People People for that chance.
Sinichi Higashi‘s series Graffiti of Speed/Mirror Symmetry takes street art to the next level as he symmetrically mirrors long exposure photographs to capture a rapturous, spaced-out view of Tokyo’s urban cityscape. His view is a fast-paced, futuristic world where ghostly flashes of bright lights form translucent, abstract lines and shapes that hover through the hard concrete and metal of the city’s engineering and urban plan. via
In light of National Science Day in India, Mumbai-based graphic designer Kapil Bhagat created a series of typography graphics honoring some of the most famous scientists that have lived. via
Inspired by the bubble wrap I did my first bubble calendar ten years ago in uni, few years later I found the same idea in production spreading across the web. The bubble wrap obsession is a real stress reliever. But how about art? Bradley Hart armed with paint and injector creates these paintings. The result is a fantastic analog/digital picture fitting of our modern era.

If we look back to the history of arts, we find that the state of a modern day sculpture shows a mental health of an epoch. Wherever it was tied with any theological concept, aesthetic meaning of life or any other practical needs. Lets take a look at the modern sculpture and think a bit how it inspires and what senses it calls out.

"Showing he is as skilled in dressing a room as he is in dressing a body, Rick Owens’ furniture is a pure extension of his standout aesthetic. Taking the same approach to their design as he does his clothes, the results are sculptural pieces that verge on art yet function as furniture. Utilizing a combination of textures from antlers to alabaster, it’s a collection of pure brutalist beauty." via Trendland
