Hutch & Co Restaurant by Biasol Studio

"Nestled amongst the vines of Victoria’s Yarra Valley, 35km northeast of the city is Hutch & Co. From its humble beginnings as the 1800s ironmongery store formally known as Hutchinson’s, the site was transformed into a modern restaurant by Melbourne Design Studio Biasol"

The Arsenal Flat in Paris

"H2o architectes designed the Arsenal Flat in Paris for a couple that have two children. The apartment isn’t your typical design. The interior is laid out to include three connected living spaces that are open but slightly partitioned by built-in bookcases with one angled side, which references the building’s sloped roofline."

A Concrete Summer House By BAK Arquitectos

"BAK arquitectos (Besonias Almeida) constructed the AV house, a concrete summer home in the forest of Mar Azul in Argentina. Surrounded by the lush natural landscape, the architects' goal was to design a building that integrates into the maritime environment through its shape and use of materials. The exterior is made of exposed concrete and the large windows capture the light that passes through the trees. Additionally, the interior is completely made of concrete, which regulates the thermal insulation."

Live on the Edge with OPA’s Casa Brutale

You might remember the cliff-hanging project by Modscape published last year at Top 2014, but here is a new one concept from another studio OPA that will leave your mouth agape. Casa Brutale gives us wall-to-wall water and concrete set into cliffs above the Aegean Sea in what OPA promises will be a literally ground-breaking development.
