Berlin-based award-winning glasses company MYKITA took their boundary-breaking ethos to a whole new level with their parametrically-designed MY VERY OWN collection.
A collaboration with Swedish 3D-body-modeling company Volumental, the MVO label’s custom frames are made using 3D scans and algorithms that calculate a design that adapts perfectly to your face. To match this new level of bespoke-magic eyewear, Sensucht worked alongside director Stephan Wever to create a piece of visual “Slow Food“—the distilled essence in images of sensual, custom-made quality.

"Nowadays young children know more brands and logo’s than bird or tree species. Advertisements are so present in our environment, it seems our dreams are the last safe and add-free place. But what happens when advertisers gain the technology to enter our dreams? This animated short by our friends of Studio Smack introduces us in a dream infected by a brand we all know…" via

"The architects of Sadie Snelson Architects transformed an old warehouse in East London into an impressive living and working concept for photographers. The team removed nearly all original walls in order to create an open living space. Great importance was given to preserve individual elements to keep an industrial look."

Agency Salon Alpin has brought to life Tatiana de Rosnay’s story using animation, VFX and sets made out of paper. This Christmas campaign, created for Montblanc is a heart-warming seasonal story. Text via Howww
The South Alpine production studio wanted to create a campaign that sticks to the Montblanc motto, “made by hand”. The concept was to use only handcrafted sets and the only limitations stylistically was that the setting needed to tell a story that clearly reflected a beautiful and charming Christmas tale.

Russian proverb says "Word is not a sparrow. Once it flies out, you can't catch it", it can hit, can humiliate and even kill. Shockingly tragic acts of youth violence are on the rise in our neighbouring China. An even lesser known finding is that in China, childhood verbal abuse has a strong link to adolescent delinquency (personally it happens everywhere in the world).
The Center for Psychological Research, Shenyang and Ogilvy & Mather, Beijing have joined hands to launch a creative campaign "Words Can Be Weapons" that raises Chinese public awareness of the serious and detrimental effects of verbal abuse.

I'm not a big fan of movies especially sci-fi but the work behind the scenes always fascinated me. Apart of the rumours that there is a crowdfunding campaign to return Matt Damon from Mars, the movie itself is captivating and first of all with its smart use of interface. After discovering GMUNK's work over "Tron" interfaces at OFFF festival few years ago, the way we see UI in movies raised the bar (sorry not to mention the Shell in Matrix). Here is the new, absolutely stunning and definitely painstaking work done by Territory Studio for "The Martian" movie. Working closely with NASA, Territory developed a series of deft and elegant concepts that combine factual integrity and filmic narrative, yet are forward looking and pushing NASA’s current UI conventions as much as possible.
In all Territory delivered around 400 screens for on-set playback, most of them featuring interactive elements. With 85 screens on the NASA Mission Control set alone, a number of which were 6mx18m wall screens, there are many moments in which the graphics become a dynamic bridge between Earth and Mars, narrative and action, audience and characters.

"The Aishti Foundation is a 40,000 sq foot exhibition space in Jal el-Dib, a short drive up the Mediterranean coast from downtown Beirut. The foundation building will showcase works from Salamé's 2,000-strong collection as well as a variety of high end luxury retail shops. To celebrate the opening of The Foundation, Tony Salamé asked Sagmeister&Walsh to conceptualise and design a campaign around the intersection of fashion and art, while also highlighting its location by the sea side. We also created an animated series of the campaign for Instagram and their social channels."

The must-read presentation of coffee bran Papa Palheta by Singapore-based studio Foreign Policy: "Taking their brand further to provide better user experience even online, the Papa Palheta Experience Kit is designed to reflect their philosophy of having strong coffee roots down to sustainability.
With meticulous consideration of the sensory elements within the kit, a card printed on recycled pulp paper made with blended coffee chaff (an underused by product of roasting coffee) prompts the user to repurpose it whether as a bookmark or thank-you card. Add-on inserts like a coffee connoisseur’s tasting notes record sheet; informative brewing guide that suggests the golden water-to-coffee ratio and a cake recipe card to create the perfect pairing with coffee, encourage the coffee drinker to explore the growing coffee culture. In contrast with the earth-tones of the paper stock, the color scheme of florescent orange and cobalt blue provides the pop of color, enlivening the common brown packaging of coffee"
"BAK arquitectos (Besonias Almeida) constructed the AV house, a concrete summer home in the forest of Mar Azul in Argentina. Surrounded by the lush natural landscape, the architects' goal was to design a building that integrates into the maritime environment through its shape and use of materials. The exterior is made of exposed concrete and the large windows capture the light that passes through the trees. Additionally, the interior is completely made of concrete, which regulates the thermal insulation."
