TUNDRA x SILASVETA - EPICENTER

One of the best electronic light and projection mapping studios in the world (yes, literally), Russians - TUNDRA and SilaSveta collaborated together to produce an EPICENTER immersive installation to celebrate 7th Anniversary of ARMA17 in Moscow

"Each group created an installation that places the viewer in the “epicenter of borderless creativity.” Tundra’s piece, Halo, creates eerie scenes such as a lightning storm and a fire, playing with space and criss-crossing beams of light. A figure weaves in and out of the beams, getting closer and closer but ultimately disappearing into the darkness. The soundtrack consists of choral music overlaid with what sounds like either rain or a scorching forest." says The Creators Project

Paris Day & Night

Сonstantine Konovalov and Irina Neustroeva from Russian video design studio Teeter Totter Tam, specialising in timelapses came up with a great video of Paris. They spent 3 month is the city and literally 40 days doing 72 shots and 10 "excusez-moi" for each 3 seconds of this hyperlapse video. I tip my hat to the great work they've done!

New NASA Logo Concept made by Russian

"The Russians were NASA’s chief rival during the space race, so it’s ironic that it took a young Russian named Max Lapteff to design a smart, speculative rebranding of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration logo. The mark pulls off a hat trick, referencing NASA’s illustrious past, nodding to its dreams of taking us to new planets, and ditching the dated features of the old logo." says Wired and this story seen ironically funny in all possible ways.

Dairy Branding went street style with Pokras Lampas

It happens in Russia when Dairy Brands got Cannes Lions or request leading street artist to complete their branding. This time leading Russian modern calligraphy artist (and Calligraffiti Ambassador) Pokras Lampas was commissioned by "Molochnaya Kultura" ("Milk Culture") to create packaging for their eco-product dairy line. We salute companies that take a huge challenges to stand out by involving modern artists - that's a good way to develop the best customer relationship.

Melancholy Rooms by Anna Radchenko

"Anna Radchenko is one of the new exciting talented breed of Russian artists that are now using London as their creative base. Originally from Moscow, Anna creates visual works on human emotions and observations of the modern world, working with installations and photography." via

She "has brought the Melancholy Rooms to London; at the Hoxton gallery, she creates an ambient where worldwide cultural behaviours are exposed, leading the audience to see, hear, feel and ultimately think about these certain issues. The total installation, or mixed media art, is the first Anna has ever done in London and it is a breach of her own boundaries as an artist as she creates more than just images. The exhibition mixes her well-known photographic work with sculptures, installation, music and video." via

Since the project has started, I shot more than 40 different concepts/characters. of course, for the exhibition I have chosen the ones I liked the most and the strongest ones. All the “sculptural” items (body parts) were produced in Moscow by a team called Zolotaya Staya, the rest has all been sourced, produced and put together in London by an amazing team of professionals leaded by Frederica Hodgkinson.

anna-radchenko

The core of the exhibition consists of four room installations: mothers love: when it gets hard to breathe disorder: life from like to like consumerism: I consume therefore I exist information wars: what is true and what is fake

Milk Bottle Lamp by Constantin Bolimond

Emerging Russian industrial design talent Constantin Bolimond came up with a lamp design resembling a milk bottle. As a form follows famous Soviet milk bottle with a foil cap, it is recognisable abroad due to the fact almost everything in "soviet design" was adopted from outside.
