The must-read presentation of coffee bran Papa Palheta by Singapore-based studio Foreign Policy: "Taking their brand further to provide better user experience even online, the Papa Palheta Experience Kit is designed to reflect their philosophy of having strong coffee roots down to sustainability.

With meticulous consideration of the sensory elements within the kit, a card printed on recycled pulp paper made with blended coffee chaff (an underused by product of roasting coffee) prompts the user to repurpose it whether as a bookmark or thank-you card. Add-on inserts like a coffee connoisseur’s tasting notes record sheet; informative brewing guide that suggests the golden water-to-coffee ratio and a cake recipe card to create the perfect pairing with coffee, encourage the coffee drinker to explore the growing coffee culture. In contrast with the earth-tones of the paper stock, the color scheme of florescent orange and cobalt blue provides the pop of color, enlivening the common brown packaging of coffee"

"Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang, known for his use of gun powder to create art, recently used a whole lot of it pay tribute to his grandmother’s 100th birthday with a stunning art piece, “Sky Ladder”. The pyrotechnic art piece lit up the sky above Quanzhou, south-eastern China on Monday, utilizing fireworks and a giant balloon to create the effect of a fiery ladder building itself 1,650 ft up into the sky." via Booooooom

"The Russians were NASA’s chief rival during the space race, so it’s ironic that it took a young Russian named Max Lapteff to design a smart, speculative rebranding of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration logo. The mark pulls off a hat trick, referencing NASA’s illustrious past, nodding to its dreams of taking us to new planets, and ditching the dated features of the old logo." says Wired and this story seen ironically funny in all possible ways.

Heavily rumoured large-scale street art installation initiated by Banksy opened this week in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, UK and named "Dismaland". Billed as a "family theme park unsuitable for children" and "a festival of art, amusements and entry-level anarchism," the street artist's latest project offers "an alternative to the sugar-coated tedium of the average family day out," according to the park's website. Dismaland features 10 new works by the famous provocateur, as well as the contributions of 57 other artists from around the world, including Damien Hirst, Brock Davis, Ben Long, and more.

"The iconic London department store is one of the world's most exciting and recognisable retail environments, with a historical legacy that has consistently touched on trends in style, sport, technology and popular culture – it's a fitting location to celebrate Apple Watch. For the windows, all eight variations of flowers have been scaled and hand-painted by artists, the sculpting process as equally painstaking and meticulous as the original photography on the smartwatch. A fully CG rendered short film created by Ziye Liu based upon contemporary artworks from artists Yayoi Kusama and Ai Weiwei, the short film explored the infinite possibilities by using 3D digital art to create new “versions” of existing artworks.

Multi-talented NYC-based artist and illustrator Shawna X (Instagram) was recently commissioned by Adobe to spend a day in the middle of White Sands, New Mexico and create an artwork using Adobe Mobile tools. The end result was a 9’ x 9’ lightbox displayed on the sand dunes at dusk.

Sasha Korban was born in Kirovske of Donetsk Region, Ukraine. In 2006-2011 he worked as a miner at the “Komsomolets Donbasu” mine. For the first time he tried to create street art as far back as in 2002. But he thinks that the start of his conscious work on the street as a graffiti artist was in 2009.

Peculiarity of his creative work is representation of “characters”, namely portraits and not tags or typography. He participated in different Ukrainian graffiti festival. In August 2014 he moved to Kyiv. In parallel with graffiti works he started to create easel works for galleries. Represented by Sky Art Foundation
