Robert Howsare created a kind of endless spyrograph automatic machine using turntables with different speeds and few cheap materials and sharpie pen. I am not sure the matter is in turntables but in overall the project is promising for his upcoming student work in Ohio University

You might seen the unique set of pioneer colour photos taken by Russian photographer Prokudin-Gorskii a century ago. Here is a new portion presented on BBC.

"This vivid colour photograph is 100 years old, a self-portrait by the Russian aristocrat Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii, using a unique photographic technique he developed himself. Prokudin-Gorskii studied chemistry under Mendeleev, the inventor of the periodic table, before travelling to Berlin to study photochemistry.'

Prokudin-Gorskii took thousands of pictures between 1909-1912 as he toured the Russian empire, armed with a special pass from Tsar Nicholas II. He created a panorama of all the peoples, landscapes, industries and antiquities under Russian possession.
Every day for 100 days, Andrew Miller will paint one branded object white, removing all visual branding, reducing the object to its purest form - this called Brand Spirit

Many thanks to StPete based fashion photographer Daria Markova for materials

Barry X Ball is one hell of a sculptor who uses various types of marble and steel to create his works. Mr. Ball (if I may call him that) is currently based out of New York, USA, but originally hails from sunny Pasadena, California. His series, entitled “Masterpieces”, consist of recreated sculptural works after classic pieces of the Great Masters, such as Antonio Corradini, Josse de Corte, and the timeless Hermaphrodite Endormi (Ermafrodito Borghese) piece.

"Lithuanian designer Gogelmogel specializes in a mix of simple ideas with a side of humor. Once such example is the latest project, the Blah Blah Blah book. The book is pretty much exactly what it seems – a book filled with blah, blah, and more blahs." via Design Milk
