Pool Party with 65,000 ping-pong balls

UrbanDaddy challenged Red Paper Heart to create a memorable interactive experience in water. "Our desire was to create animations that partygoers could swim through. Initially we had no idea how to make this a reality."

We reacted as any normal person would, and promptly put in an order for 65,000 ping pong balls, enough to cover the entire surface of the pool. To go with our new screen, we created an application which mapped to the pool and displayed a floating river of graphics, pulled by an invisible tide. Audio reactive visuals bumped along with the various dj’s and musical acts taking place poolside. The tactile quality of swimming through ping pong balls, combined with animated colors and light created an interactive event worth telling stories about.

Be Yourself at the Chalkboard

"Belgian studio Soon has made a promotional stop-motion video for Twixl media. The clip is an interesting watch because it is fully typographic and illustrated with chalk by Kelly De Ceuninck, and Pieter Vanhoutte. Additionally, it has been creatively directed by Jim Van Raemdonck, and typography and art direction by Lee Skinner." via Illusion Scene 360

Iris van Herpen

To promote Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen’s new collection “Voltage” Geoffrey Lilemon and Joost Korngold directed a short trailer. The idea was to represent the collection through a ghost or apparition made of strings and harps haunting the halls of a grand palace, environments made of the same fragile reflective glass material. The film was finished with production support by Random Studio. Geoffrey Lillemon met Iris van Herpen during Paris Fashion week where a discussion sparked about directing a video for her by merging hi-end technology with art and fashion. This led to bringing in Joost Korngold, who is well known for abstract 3d and particle artwork that would suit well stylistically to join in the production.

From there Breek stepped in to give the shapes life by adding intricate sound design to articulate them as instruments. The final piece was a celebration of various different disciplines and ideas brought into one beautiful experience.

Listen. Watch. Play. by Studio Output

"Following the success of our previous viral for the PlayStation Store, we were asked to create a short promo film for Sony Entertainment Network. Unlike the previous film, this piece of content had to work much more like a traditional advert, getting across all the services, features and benefits, albeit in an entertaining way." says Studio Output about their recent work "Listen. Watch. Play"

The film feels like a monster pop-up entertainment event, held in a large warehouse space somewhere in London with a vast labyrinth of different entertainment rooms showcasing music, movies and games. The rooms have everything from huge gaming simulators in an aircraft hangar, to a real-life version of LittleBigPlanet, plus EQ and Bravia installations, a content room to navigate through all the titles, an epic cinema room, murals, live art and graffiti.
