Los Angeles based Designer and Creative Director Olga Midlenko shares a selection of work that she created over the past 5 years. Olga directed title sequences for such feature films and TV series as Pacific Rim: Uprising, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Limitless, and Good Behavior, acted as an art director on title sequences for Kong: Skull Island, Fahrenheit 451, and Suburbicon, and contributed as a designer to the title sequences for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Black Mass, Salem and many more.

She directed a branded content film for the Audi Q2 that was released at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2016 and led a broadcast graphics package for The Oscars 2017. Her online portfolio and demo reel are a combination of final products as well as process motion tests and design frames, exhibiting the level of thought and work that went into each project.

Major" is a story at the turn of the 19th century, cycling was the world’s biggest sport, and Marshall ‘Major’ Taylor was its biggest superstar. He broke multiple world records, won championships and defeated competition all over the world. But he was still searching for something else: a true rival.

"Relentless with their mission of diffusing emerging music onto the scene, Red Bull launched Red Bull Radio. The web based radio station offers an eclectic programming that also includes interviews with musicians, critics, industry thinkers and music mavens. Recognizing that every show has its own identity, Baillat set a unique tone corresponding to each of their themes. In keeping with the modus operandi of the Baillat's Red Bull campaign concept, the studio called on various local illustrators and graphic designers to unleash a series of animated GIFs. Staying in true form, the results resonated in outstanding, eccentric and upbeat renditions."

“I had the pleasure of working on this project for a British eyewear brand called Linda Farrow.
The concept was simply «gold» as this is their iconic colour palette. This project was a real creative challenge for me. Shooting six pairs of mirror luxury sunglasses in a 30-liter aquarium... and deadline was one month. It was a completely new and exciting experience, full of experiments”

The Brief
To create the social marketing material for Adidas's officia Winter Olympics Kit launch.

The BLUP way
There aren't many household names who represent GB in the Winter Olympics so there were no sports celebs to base the kit launch around. Thinking The Blup Way we decided to focus on the kit with no model at all giving each piece its own identity through a series of still and motion graphics. The soundtrack we added aims to act like an 'epic' movie trailer in order to create a dark, icy impact.

ON Running — “No Room For Grey Areas”

Traum Inc. was commissioned by ON Running to promote their new shoe Cloud X released in a special all black and all white version.

Shot in Iceland the film creates a world of black and white, brutalist and wild but technical, balancing sublime landscapes with technical closeups and 3D renderings of the shoe. The film pits a runner agains his alter ego, chasing each other until it comes to a final stand off between both.
