Logan uses himself as a model for his drawings and paintings, turning his elaborate studies of nature to explore intersections between masculinity, identity, memory and place. His idea of a man entwined with nature, a life unfamiliar to most of us, is his concept of a unified man who Zachari believes has disappeared in the 21st century."

"This is a brilliant street art piece made by wire sculptor Edoardo Tresoldi and muralist Gonzalo Borondo. Titled “Chained,” also the name of the art event organized by gallery Wunderkammern who invited nine important urban artists to create outdoor installations in the city of Milan. An exhibition focused on the food chain, and how humans are part of this biological community and “only one of many elements in a chain dependent on the entire system.”

"Four years ago, Booooooom creator Jeff Hamada asked the internet to join in on an art challenge to recreate their favourite old master paintings as contemporary photographs. The Remake Project sparked many professional and amateur artists to create elaborate sets, paint their bodies, paint their friends’ bodies, and take their own shot at works by artists from Dali to Magritte. This collection of original paintings and their contemporary counterparts has now taken the form of a book released through Chronicle Books titled Remake: Master Works of Art Reimagined."

Fragmento Universo is a film production & music design studio run by the union of two creative minds, Christian del Moral & Tessa Dóniga, located in Madrid, Spain. In their latest work, "Stuff That Sounds Like Summer", they tried to set out to help everyone remember those sweet, sleepy and lazy ambient sounds normally associated with summer. They compiled the top summer playlist hits, which include the sound of water balloons, ice clinking in a glass of lemonade, the blades of an electric fan turning, or the ring of a hotel front desk bell. "BAK arquitectos (Besonias Almeida) constructed the AV house, a concrete summer home in the forest of Mar Azul in Argentina. Surrounded by the lush natural landscape, the architects' goal was to design a building that integrates into the maritime environment through its shape and use of materials. The exterior is made of exposed concrete and the large windows capture the light that passes through the trees. Additionally, the interior is completely made of concrete, which regulates the thermal insulation."

For the past 14 years, Steven Spazuk has perfected a technique called fumage, that allows him to use the flame of a candle or the flame of a torch as a pencil to create his paintings with trails of soot. Using various tools, he intuitively sculpt the plumes of soot left behind in response to the shapes that appear on the canvas.

My goal with "Oscillate" was to visualize waveform patterns that evolve from the fundamental sine wave to more complex patterns, creating a mesmerizing audio-visual experience in which sight and sound work in unison to capture the viewer's attention.

Just as promised, Lexus come through with a full and final reveal of its highly-anticipated hoverboard. The board has been in development for 18 months, as Lexus — alongside a team of scientists from IFW Dresden and evico GmbH — have recently concluded a successful testing stage in Barcelona, courtesy of pro skateboarder and hoverboard test rider Ross McGouran.

The Lexus Hoverboard features two “cryostats,” reservoirs in which superconducting material is kept at -197 degrees through immersion in liquid nitrogen. Permanent magnets then rest underneath the board, as Dr. Oliver de Haas, evico CEO, says, “The magnetic field from the track is effectively ‘frozen’ into the superconductors in the board, maintaining the distance between the board and the track—essentially keeping the board hovering. This force is strong enough to allow the rider to stand and even jump on the board.”

Based in central Germany, Timestorm Films is a start-up media production company specializing in motion-control time-lapse cinematography. They already created a lot of heartbreaking timelapse movies and here is their latest one involvement. Patagonia 8K explores the beautiful and rough landscapes of southern Chile and Argentina. Shot in 6 weeks, travelling over 7500km from Santiago to Punta Arenas they captured roughly 100.000 still frames that combine into this timelapse video.
