Camille Walala

April 06, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Graphic Design, Illustration, Portfolios, Street Art, United Kingdom, 2016, Art

Camille Walala is a purveyor of powerfully positive digital print. Recent work has seen her progressing from her popular textile based range to include art direction, interior design and a continued love affair with popup restaurants, where her love for food and design are brought to life. Influences include the Memphis Movement, the Ndebele tribe and optical art master Vasarely alongside the simple desire to put a smile on people’s faces.

The-1975-Neon-Signs

UK artist David Drake (Instagram) was responsible for The 1975 new album design with a photography of neon signs seamlessly placed in different locations (that deeply reminds me Lee Jung's installations).

Alto's Adventure - The Ultimate Snowboard Mobile Game

March 01, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Illustration, United Kingdom, Mobile Applications, 2016

Alto’s Adventure is such an immersive experience, it’s hard to believe it’s being channeled through a mobile-sized screen. Its beauty is in the details: the tiny shadow reflected in the snow as you leap into the air for a backflip, the birds flying away in fear as you tear down a hill, the satisfying sound of your board pressing down on the snow. Overhead, the sky is constantly shifting, drenching you in darkness and rain during a midnight storm, then offering solace a few moments later with the soft, rosy hues of dawn...

The app was built by Ryan Cash and Jordan Rosenberg, the founders of the Toronto-based software studio Snowman, with UK illustrator and developer Harry Nesbitt.

Steel wire sculptures by Kendra Haste

February 23, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Portfolios, Sculpture, United Kingdom, 2016

Working only with layers of painted galvanised wire atop steel armature, UK artist Kendra Haste creates faithful reproductions of creatures large and small for both public installations and private collections around the world. A graduate of the from the Royal College of Art, Haste says she is fascinated by how such a seemingly ordinary medium, chicken wire, is capable of suggesting “the sense of movement and life, of contour and volume, the contrasts of weight and lightness, of solidity and transparency—values that I find in my natural subjects.”

A massive London Church transformed into a home

February 17, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Interior Design, United Kingdom, 2016

This modern and special property is located in London, England and impresses by a very stylish interior and its spaciousness.

The “sacred” property features a living space of almost 600m², a fitness room, a shared living, dining and kitchen area, heated parquet floors and numerous marble finishings. Particularly interesting is the private patio with a unique waterfall.

Painted Oceans

February 03, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Street Art, United Kingdom, 2016

"Led by the creative vision of Tristan Eaton, PAINTED OCEANS is a feature documentary film that will follow seven of the world’s most renowned street artists as they set out to make history by painting murals this summer on the infamous Red Sands Sea Forts. Located off the East Coast of England, the structures are known for the critical role they played in the crusade against German forces in World War II, as well as fighting censorship in the pirate radio movement of the 1970s. Bringing together the likes of Shepard Fairey, How & Nosm, Futura 2000, The London Police and Tristan Eaton, each artist will be assigned a tower to render their respective murals. Set in a remarkably turbulent environment of extreme tides, decaying metal and unpredictable weather conditions, a “village at sea” will be constructed in the middle of the ocean in order to house the artists." via Hypebeast

January 04, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Agencies, Interior Design, United Kingdom, 2016

"The architects of Sadie Snelson Architects transformed an old warehouse in East London into an impressive living and working concept for photographers. The team removed nearly all original walls in order to create an open living space. Great importance was given to preserve individual elements to keep an industrial look."
