Nike Selfridges by ...,staat

Series of 8 interactive windows at Selfridges London for Nike by ...,staat. In collaboration with Nike Brand Design EMEA.

Together with Nike Brand Design Europe …,staat designed eight stunning windows – each taking the main characteristics of each product and translating them into interactive and/or kinetic art installations. All were set within a concrete environment to ensure visual consistency throughout all the windows, as well as visually connect back to the Nike+ House of Innovation.

Drawings by James Mylne

"British artist James Mylne makes photo-realistic images using essentially a ballpoint pen, and sometimes he mixes other materials such as ink, marker, and spray paint. His drawings demand a great deal of concentration because one wrong stroke, can spoil the whole portrait." via Illusion Scene 360

Origami and Mapping by Joanie Lemercier

We were happy that had a small talk with talented visual artist Joanie Lemercier known as a part of AntiVJ team. Joanie shows his latest projection mapping on wall mounted paper origami. My name is Joanie Lemercier, I'm a visual artist and my work is based around light projected onto 3 dimensional canvases. Over the past few year I've been working a lot with architecture, and projection mapping onto facades with the visual label AntiVJ (www.antivj.com), but lately I've been exploring much smaller structures, experimenting with pencil, paper, tape and projected light.

This piece is a result of a short residency I did in a gallery space near Birmingham (UK) a few weeks ago. All I used was A4 paper, folded into 7 different sizes pyramids, and taped to the wall. I really like using a very basic geometric shape, and repeat it several times to create more organic structures. I then use a video projector to map the light onto the structure and to animate the composition. I am now working on similar pieces on a much smaller scale made of porcelain.

Listen. Watch. Play. by Studio Output

"Following the success of our previous viral for the PlayStation Store, we were asked to create a short promo film for Sony Entertainment Network. Unlike the previous film, this piece of content had to work much more like a traditional advert, getting across all the services, features and benefits, albeit in an entertaining way." says Studio Output about their recent work "Listen. Watch. Play"

The film feels like a monster pop-up entertainment event, held in a large warehouse space somewhere in London with a vast labyrinth of different entertainment rooms showcasing music, movies and games. The rooms have everything from huge gaming simulators in an aircraft hangar, to a real-life version of LittleBigPlanet, plus EQ and Bravia installations, a content room to navigate through all the titles, an epic cinema room, murals, live art and graffiti.
