This film is about what we could do right to balance this beautiful planet we share. Of course, we know that we impact the climate. However, even with the vast amounts of information available to us it is difficult to determine the ‘right’ thing to do. Climate issues are complex and overwhelming because the ‘right’ course of action in one place can be the ‘wrong’ action in another. But regardless of the complexities, one factor consistently causes damage to our environment: the consumption of large amounts of a single product. This consumption pattern is destructive despite how harmless the consumed material might be in small quantities. I began exploring climate issues as a design student over 15 years ago. Those years of research and development opened my eyes to notions of biodiversity and sustainability. It is my hope that this film communicates the importance of diverse and innovative practices while challenging the more commonly held beliefs of singular grand gestures of reduction. That ultimately, it is through our little actions that we make together that lead to profound impacts to our planet. And it is through the understanding of our own actions that we will attain balance. Thank you so much to all involved. I have a lot of gratitude for the time, talent and the energy you all put into this film. I created this opening titles for the Jaume Balagueró´s new film "Muse", a thriller based on the novel " La Dama número 13 " by José Carlos Somoza. The Dante´s Divide comedy has an strong presence on the "Muse" film since the main character, Samuel, has an special link with literature. The opening titles are based on one of the Divine comedy´s infernos: The fate of suicides. Since the suicides have “denied the God-given sanctity of their bodies on earth,” they are deemed unfit for human form. The soul grows into an anguished and gnarled tree. The placement of the soul is haphazard and disordered - “anywhere that fortune tosses it” - analogous to how the Suicides treated their bodies. The opening titles are a representation of this tate of suicides´s inferno, the human anatomy is the main character of the piece. Melted bodies forming abstract forms mixing and forming trees, nature elements and surrealist creatures inhabit this fiction. Direction : Fernando Domínguez Cózar www.fernandominguez.com Production: apaches entertainment For this project i was contacted by the spanish film director Kike Maíllo to create the main opening titles for his second film "Toro". Toro is an action thriller that takes place during 48 frantic hours. Two brothers meet again after five years. They embark on a journey by a violent Andalusia, mythical, rugged and wild. A journey in which old wounds appear and in which the brothers are forced to reconcile himself to save their lifes. The opening titles are a journey through the landscapes where the movie takes place. Inside a dreamlike atmosphere we discover the characteres and information that will be revealed in the film. The landscapes are working not only as evironments or dead natures but as characters too.

“I am” project by Radugadesign studio became the part of "Motion response selection" for PAUSE fest 2020. “New Odyssey” is a theme of this year and it starts an adventurous journey into the new decade for which we are required to welcome new values and virtues. In our project we rely on the hypothesis simulation. If the hypothesis is true, in the future we will be able to become "creators" of the virtual world that will turn into "real" for its new inhabitants. Our world may not be the main in the universe but the part of the multiverse, just an experiment of some overdeveloped civilization. We observe that a person’s place is increasingly determined by how the digital space perceives us. The world is gradually entering the era of artificial intelligence, immersed in "neural networks". We're learning to create more and more realistic copies of reality. We're not only knowing ourselves through impulses that we catch, but also this helps us to construct ways of interacting with each other. We pass them on to our surrounding reality. We're generating and launching new impulses that affect the world around us. Our “New Odyssey’’ is essentially a journey – a journey in search of answers: “What is reality?”, “Who am I?”, “What am I doing here?” and even “Am I here?”, “Am I?” // Creative director: Ivan Nefedkin Producer: Dina Safina Screenwriter: Anna Kramar Production team: Alexander Abramov, Egor Andrianov, Elen Elkiev, Sergey Voronov, Sergey Nikitin, Slava Rybin, Maksim Grebenschikov, Sergey Gorokhov Models: Ilya Lim, Jancy Bazego, Vasilisa Sokolova, Anya Mikhailova, Anastasiia Tskhai, Alexey Vorobyev Style: Olga Bobrova Style assistant: Lina Bulygo Make up: Alena Trusova Sound: Alexander Zaripov Voices: Allie, Bella, Ellen, Kristine, Michell, Fred, Jimmy, Kelvin, Matt, Nick DOP: Andrey Kashurin Gaffer: Alexander Garan Full project: https://bit.ly/30plsDt

Everything came naturally to this process I was working on, involving two types of liquids blending in forever, progressively. I choose to represent the light of Kabbalah that Max once told me about, blending a very luminous and pearly white with a very dark black. Once I had a satisfying shot, I added with Max a variety of neolithic paintings and illustrations spreading out from the center where the lights were coming from. The final result represents an infinite light spraying all over darkness, as the birth of reason and mankind." Follow Thomas on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thomas_vanz/ Max Cooper: "I wanted to start the project with the earliest visual example of the infinite I could find reference to - the bright white light of Kabbalah. The magician of liquid systems, Thomas Vanz told me he had a new secret recipe which could deliver what I needed, so I set about scoring to this idea based around what I know of Thomas’ work. The whole project functioned in this way, starting with my written descriptions of each chapter, then finding a visual artist to carry out that side of things, while in parallel I scored the music to the imagined final result. At some point down the line the first visual and musical sketches arrived and things could be refined at each end to marry the music and visual together seamlessly. The music for this chapter needed something with a feeling of grandeur and space, mysteriousness and mysticism. It all came down to some really sparse drawn out chords and plenty of different layers of saturation with pedals (plenty of Metasonix F1, Moogerfooger overdrive, Industrialelctric RM1N, Fairfield Circuitry Meet Maude, WMD Geiger Counter), with smatterings of more distorted hits running through a heavy (Big Sky) plate reverb to punctuate the scale even more. Visually, we complemented Thomas’ growing light animation with ancient cave painting imagery in order to tie the visual abstraction to the human story, and the birth of our yearning for the infinite. For the live show I use two layers of screens to first show the structure hovering in front of stage, then to slowly reveal the rear backlit screen and my position between them, as a means of slowly adding a 3-dimensional depth effect as the music and visual peaks." The Guardian

November 26, 2019 by Arseny Vesnin in 2019, Portfolios, Motioncollector, United Kingdom

The Guardian is a free interpretation of the parable "Before the Law" from Kafka's book "The Trial". A peasant after traveling the world arrives in front of a gate, controlled by a fearsome Guardian. The peasant tries to pass through but the Guardian denies him entrance. Peasant and Guardian are the same character, the peasant, like each one of us, in front of his own fear; the guardian, something shapeless, that surround and control him. The Door/Gate the possibilities we encounter during our life.
