Second Skin - the Next Age Material

The clothing of the future might be grown in the lab, not sewn in a factory. A new set of clothes from MIT Media Lab's Tangible Media Group started life in a flask. By printing bacteria into fabric, it's possible to make clothes that are partially alive—and that can respond to the outside world. It's smart clothing, but without any electronics.

In a prototype called Second Skin, researchers made bacteria-powered athletic wear that naturally opens and closes tiny flaps to help you cool off while you're running or doing yoga.

Dark Portraits of Tattooed Models by Mattia Crepaldi

Milan-based photographer Mattia Crepaldi shares black and white portraits of tattooed and not only models on Behance profile. He teamed up with some of the most beautiful models of Italy and Europe, such as Ilaria Pozzi. They all have jaw-dropping tattoos, from neo traditional to geometric, and from tattoo masters such as Marco Galdo. Mattia Crepaldi’s portraits are diptychs, showing two different aspects or complementary sides of his model. The result is raw, dark, but also moving and breath-taking…

Fashion Photography by Erik Madigan Heck

"At first, these highly stylized fashion images from Erik Madigan Heck look like vector art. However, these shots of Junya Watanabe’s Fall 2015 collection are actually all photography, but edited to be flat and one dimensional to complement the graphic nature of the collection." says Design Milk

By the Sea Campaign - Sagmeister & Walsh

"The Aishti Foundation is a 40,000 sq foot exhibition space in Jal el-Dib, a short drive up the Mediterranean coast from downtown Beirut. The foundation building will showcase works from Salamé's 2,000-strong collection as well as a variety of high end luxury retail shops. To celebrate the opening of The Foundation, Tony Salamé asked Sagmeister&Walsh to conceptualise and design a campaign around the intersection of fashion and art, while also highlighting its location by the sea side. We also created an animated series of the campaign for Instagram and their social channels."

Being a model and an artist on one hand is a double-win, on another is a massive responsibilities for personal challenges. Louise achieves them with a speed of a pain that she splatters across handmade photography collages. After dry up she complete the artwork digitally and send it over fashion editorial or personal exhibition, signed and stamped. Classy works of Belgium design scene.
