A US photographer has launched an internet hunt "Find the Girls on the Negatives" to find two mysterious women pictured on an old roll of film she discovered in a second-hand shop.Meagan Abell was sifting through a box of vintage photographs in Richmond, Virginia when she found four sets of "transparency slides". She took them home to scan them and was "shocked" at the level of detail. "I thought 'holy wow they are beautiful'. I'd love to find the women or the photographer who took them."
Danit Peleg: "In September 2014 I started working on my graduate collection for my Fashion Design degree at Shenkar. This year, I decided to work with 3D printing, which I barely knew anything about. I wanted to check if it'd be possible to create an entire garment using technology accessible to anyone. So I embarked on my 3D printing journey, without really knowing what the end result would be."

Ceramics from the region of Hasami are amongst the most renowned in Japan, and here find new life within the retail space of compatriot manufacturer Maruhiro. Instead of throwing away “seconds” – that is, pieces of homeware deemed unusable by the manufacturer – the Hasami-made pieces have been recycled by Yusuke Seki Design Studio to comprise a new installation within the space. The 25,000 piece installation is meant to celebrate the longstanding heritage of ceramics in the region, while also cleverly creating a platform for Hasami’s pottery

For fifteen years in a row, we've gathered the biggest community of restless creatures in Latin America in a stadium. Thousands of designers, photographers, publicists, architects, anthropologists, design-inquisitors, illustrators and musicians get together to think, debate and celebrate. This ritual has become a means of operation, a considered action, a form of joy. The connexion to the little darling is unavoidable. But what is design's little darling? Inspiration? A line on a blank sheet? A geometric shape? The reticule? Composition?
We are surrounded by little darlings which help us believe in what we do; confidence, and structure our plans; projection. Little muses that constantly whisper in our ear the steps we must take; those moments plagued with ideas, lights, inspirations.
The classic crossroad of design after the starting point; the Problem. And above it all, her, with her steps floating over neurons; the Solution, dressed in graphite, nodes or ink scattered on a sketch book. And this year, we're gonna celebrate her sweet 15!
