The silence of the world, like a quotation, is suddenly endowed with an oppressive eloquence. Small intrusions are the true sparks here, because their disconcerting presence disrupts the majestic calm of the streets and squares. Are the latter guilty or victims? The fate that governs these shots in a tangible way is not the result of decisions taken by metaphysical powers, but stems uniquely from the imagination of the two creators of these photos, Lucie & Simon.

There is nothing else more inspiring than mother nature. NASA's "Perpetual Ocean" visualization shows ocean surface currents around the world during the period from June 2005 through Decmeber 2007.
The white lines represent the currents, while the darker blue colors represent the “bathymetry” (ocean topography), according to Fast Co. Design.

If you have not heard it already, meet Creative Cards project. The main aim of the project is to create something astonishing, collectable and unique. CC has invited 54 top digital creative ninjas and asked them to pick up one playing card and make a design of it in own style and technique. Robert Howsare created a kind of endless spyrograph automatic machine using turntables with different speeds and few cheap materials and sharpie pen. I am not sure the matter is in turntables but in overall the project is promising for his upcoming student work in Ohio University

Vadim Kibardin is very close with production of his wall mounted LED version of digital alarm clocks "White&White" he designed in early 2009. The project was upgraded from Black&White version to White&White and simplified to a unibody (it had detachable items in his first version). Now available for pre-order from KibardinDesign website.
Corey Arnold is a photographer and Alaskan commercial fisherman. When not spending days in Bering Sea or Bristol Bay of Alaska he travels, arranges photography exhibitions and works for magazines. He is currently working on a life long project entitled "Fish-Work" which chronicles the commercial fishing lifestyle throughout the world.
