"There's something incredibly liberating and majestic about this short animation from Brooklyn-based 3D artist and programmer Paris Mavroidis. Created while Mavroidis was pursuing his MFA in Digital Arts at Pratt Institute, "Divers" was inspired by the elaborate dance pieces of Busby Berkeley, mass gymnastics, and experimental cinema from the 20's and 30's." via Juxtapoz

Young Russian sculptor Alexey Morosov held a solo exhibition in Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg titled "Antologia" that included 48 of his works.
"The heroes that are marked by inspired beauty and imposing harmony seem to be protecting themselves from the threat of invisible aggressive force in the most part of presented works. The high skill of execution, natural combination of tradition and innovation, canonical and spontaneous helps Aleksey Morozov to discover the new possibilities of plastic language of the Antique Art and to emphasize the eternal significance of its humanistic ideals." was stated in museum's press release.
Morozov believes that European civilization must more often refer to the past, and revisit its positions towards allegory, myth and historical scenes in order to discover a new meaning. The art of Alexey Morozov proves that classical forms have not died, and that traditions andinnovations may well coexist.

"As a photographer and makeup artist selfportrait became obvious to me, as an endless identity poursuit, in which I dedicate a consuming passion. Fine art was my first passion and with " Mezig " (which means "I") I mainly tried to rediscover the pleasure I had to work with paint." View Nadia Wicker photography project on Behance
