First thing that came to my mind once I saw this was a song "We'll live and die in these towns" (The Enemies), well this kind of an installation to think about. Artist working under the name EVOL called it "Rural City" in Hamburg, Germany and made for Ms Dockville Festival this August 12—14 in Hamburg.

While Google is methodically killing its friendly brand with cruel legacies some nice designers with sense of humor playing with Google Earth. Marco Cadioli is a photographer who points his lens at the images that materialize on computer screens. His work extends the language of photography to the Net, blurring the boundaries between real and virtual. And he does it very well especially with Google Melon experiment

“A History of the Title Sequence” is a short film (graduation project) directed by Jurjen Versteeg, and music/sound design by Lea Jurida.
Designed as a possible title sequence for a fictitious documentary, this film shows a history of the title sequence in a nutshell. The sequence includes all the names of title designers who had a revolutionary impact on the history and evolution of the title sequence. The names of the title designers all refer to specific characteristics of the revolutionary titles that they designed.

Designers Against Child Slavery is a Design Collective that enables creatives from all over the world to rise up against the sex trade. We selected the works from the first DACS (February 2011) exhibition "Exposé".
The name of the new DACS exhibition is "Episodes" (expected on 1 August 2011). This exhibition is all about telling the story of a trafficking victim, through the art work. So they will be literally illustrating the "Episodes" of a victims story.
Jen Mann is a Canadian artist living just outside of Toronto. Since then she has focused on painting and developed a large body of work, which explores the subconscious, and focuses on ideas of freedom, perceived beauty, identity and home.
