Mexico based young fashion photographer Mariana Garcia. Together with her partner Cecy Young has created a studio "Porcelaine", which is successful. Published in national magazines, she works for fashion shoots or photograph her entourage for her online diary.

My work —a mixture of portrait, fashion, reportage and constantly growing in other disciplines, such as architecture— has been named as artsy shots.

Totally loving these magical gifs by Texan photographer Ignacio Torres.

“This project began from the theory that humans are made of cosmic matter as a result of a stars death. I created imagery that showcased this cosmic birth through the use of dust and reflective confetti to create galaxies. The models organic bodily expressions as they are frozen in time between the particles suggest their celestial creation. In addition, space and time is heightened by the use of three-dimensional animated gifs. Their movement serves as a visual metaphor to the spatial link we share with stars as well as their separateness through time.”

Rural City by EVOL

First thing that came to my mind once I saw this was a song "We'll live and die in these towns" (The Enemies), well this kind of an installation to think about. Artist working under the name EVOL called it "Rural City" in Hamburg, Germany and made for Ms Dockville Festival this August 12—14 in Hamburg.

A Cinemagraph is an image that contains within itself a living moment that allows a glimpse of time to be experienced and preserved endlessly.

Visual Graphics Artist Kevin Burg began experimenting with the .gif format in this style in 2009 but it wasn't until he partnered with photographer Jamie Beck to cover NYFW that Cinemagraphs were born. Marrying original content photography with the desire to communicate more to the viewer birthed the cinemagraph process. Starting in-camera, the artists take a traditional photograph and combine a living moment into the image through the isolated animation of multiple frames. To quote supermodel Coco Rocha "it's more than a photo but not quite a video".
