Leading dancer of Bolshoi Theatre - Denis Medvedev, performed in holographic projection mapping installation at the launch of BMW 7 Series in Moscow. The "Seven Questions to Yourself" performance took place at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre. A series of four multilayer plywood artworks created by Moscovian artist Dmitri Aske (Instagram). A homage to the photos of the Russian Empire made by a pioneer of colour photography Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky. All the details were laser cut, spray painted and assembled by hand.

World-famous Russian conductor Vladimir Spivakov lead his first ever digital concert at the opening of Moscow-based Porsche's show-room "Sportscar-Centre Rublevsky". Our friends from producing agency Departáment and the best projection team SilaSveta collaborated to create a unique experience by merging to epochs of 18th century music and 21st digitally entertaining performance. They created a 50sqm projection using TouchDesign and generative graphics technologies. Later on the teams where the first in Russia to gain the "Best Use of Special Effects at Events" at US Bizbash Event Style Awards, 2015. Watch it below

South Russian artist Michael Zajkov creates jaw dropping hyper realistic dolls, where your perception breaks apart while see him hold their heads in his hands. "Zajkov graduated from Kuban State University of Russia in 2009. From 2010 to 2013 he worked at a puppet theater while also attending a graduate school. He was propelled to fame after the 2013 “Art Dolls” expo in Moscow. Zajkov’s creations have multiple joints. He uses polymer clay for the dolls, hand painted glass eyes from Germany, and French mohair for hair." says BP

It's better post later than never. "Naturalist" is a product design project initiated by IZBA Team - the Russian collective of talented designers, currently 15 in a row.The project was set up by curator Tatiana Kudryavtseva and product designer Yaroslav Misonzhnikov, who set a brief for products that could re-introduce nature to urban apartments.

The collection of 18 products ranged from hanging and wall-mounted planters, to furniture made using natural materials such as bark and marble. The team has a great appearance on Dezeen blog where you can read a full review, meanwhile we share the photographs from their recent exhibition held in Saint-Petersburg Greenhouse

Spending two whole days there, we finally learned the dread and discomfort of living in a capsule hotel. It was wonderful, apart from the occasional shakeup and earthquake panic you’d feel when your neighbour decides to move his capsule four floors up, at 5 AM. He was courteous enough to leave a box of chocolate with an apology to his neighbouring capsules."

Ahmed lives and works in Baku, Azerbaijan and graduated from the sculpture department of Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Art in 2004. The artist previously focused on painting, video, and installation, but now currently focuses on textile and sculpture. Ahmed recently had a solo exhibition with Italian gallery Montoro12 titled “Omnia Mutantur, Nihil Interit,” and is currently in the group exhibition “Crafted: Objects in Flux” at The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston until January 10, 2016
