Três Marias Loft in Lisbon by AVA Architects
Via Yatzer: "The Lisbon-based architecture studio AVA is behind the interior design and renovation of this eye-catching apartment in Portugal’s capital city. Situated on the first floor of a 1983 building, the so called ‘Três Marias Loft’ is owned by a married couple of engineers with two small children. The designers chose to intervene upon the existing space as little as possible, preserving much of the apartment’s old wooden floor and the existing layout of the rooms, with the only exception being the installation of two bathrooms in what used to be the pantry. Harmoniously combining contemporary elements with the property’s history, the designers have created an airy and calm living space that also exudes a sense of playfulness and humour."

Gorky Park Ice Cream Identity
With the nostalgic flashback to Soviet epoch designer Anastasia Genkina and art director Misha Gannushkin have created these beautiful branding and packaging designs for Gorky Park ice-cream, which are also shot in a fantastically playful way by Grigory Sobchenko.
“This ice-cream has been a treat inseparable from a walk in the Moscow Gorky Park for decades. It`s special taste of creamy vanilla and waffle cone became a memory of childhood for several generations, and it has remained true to the old fashioned recipe. The aim to connect the historical value with modern recognition through design was achieved by developing patterns, inspired by key symbols of the Park`s life. Each pattern corresponds with one of the six flavours.”

Super Flemish by Sacha Goldberger
Star Wars characters and superheroes' pictures would look a little bit different if they lived in the Renaissance era, photographer Sacha Goldberger (Facebook) illustrates in an exhibit. Photographer Sacha Goldberger put cosplayers on display at an exhibit in the Grand Palais in Paris from Nov. 13 to 16. Characters have a Renaissance spin in both the clothing and the ambiance in the photos.
Many of the cosplayers wear ruffs, a ruffled neckpiece men, women, and children wore separately during the latter half of the Renaissance. Dresses are floor-length, and each piece of clothing has detail work in embroidery and patterns, along with puffier sleeves, and many layers of fabric.

Chalet C7 / Nicolás del Río and Max Núñez
I am not a big fan of winter activities and season itself but after looking on Erieta Attali's photography made for Chalet C7, I thought I am a way too young to think of comfort and relaxation. Chalet C7 is located in the Andes Mountains at 2900 meters from the Portillo Hotel and a few miles from Mount Aconcagua, Argentina. The land is characterised by a steep and rocky topography which faces the Inca Lagoon and the “Tres Hermanos” peaks. Designed and built by Nicolás del Río and Max Núñez the house is hidden in the slope in order to interferes little as possible with the view of the lagoon. via ArchDaily
Café Saint-Régis on Île Saint-Louis, Paris in Carin Olsson Photography
Few years ago I spotted an awesome photo (Carin Olsson) of Parisian cafe on Tumblr. This year I had a chance to visit Café Saint-Régis on Île Saint-Louis and admire its shabby chick interior designed by famous French decorator Richard Lafond. His studio completed about 50 projects of restaurant interiors in Paris, but still Saint-Regis is my favourite one hence I need to visit them all.
I want to say a little about this photo. It was made by Carin Olsson who spent 4 months in Paris studying language and apparently caught that "l'art de vivre" fever and moved back to the capital of France once she sorted her things in Stockholm on her short return. Today she is working in Paris as a photographer and occasional writer and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. You must check her portfolio online and on Flickr as well as follow her half-million fans Instagram
Added few photos of my own just to compare how Carin's ones are beautiful :)

Comet 67P
I am not into science and astronomy but the new images of Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko shot by Rosetta riding that wild space horse on a 38 km/s speed are just epic. The photos can practically inspire to create something basing on those outer space beauty. Images released by the European Space Agency and can be found on ESA Flickr account. As a bonus you can listen the "song" of the Comet Rosetta’s Plasma Consortium (RPC) has uncovered a mysterious ‘song’ that Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is singing into space. The comet seems to be emitting a ‘song’ in the form of oscillations in the magnetic field in the comet’s environment. It is being sung at 40-50 millihertz, far below human hearing, which typically picks up sound between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. To make the music audible to the human ear, the frequencies have been increased in this recording. Original data credit: ESA/Rosetta/RPC/RPC-MAG. This sonification of the RPC-Mag data was compiled by German composer Manuel Senfft (www.tagirijus.de).
P.s. I still remember time I spent on landing this in Windows 3.11

Gareth Pugh Spring/Summer 2015 Collection
When it comes to showcasing Gareth Pugh fashion, I leave all the work behind and sit down to write this in a onebreathe. Hence the new Spring/Summer 2015 collection deeply reminds me the work of Leon Bakst but imagine he met Nosferatu or someone from the dark side of Pagan mythology, deep, dark and captivating. Gareth Pugh caused a stir for S/S 15 by eschewing his usual slot on the Paris Fashion Week schedule and kicking off New York Fashion Week with an immersive live experience, made in collaboration with Lexus. The event featured three short films that combined Pugh’s designs with performances by models, choreographed by Wayne McGregor. Filmmaker and artist Andrew Thomas Huang served as creative director. SHOWstudio is proud to exclusively release the films - Megalith, Chaos, and Ascension - alongside a gallery of images that show off Pugh's S/S 15 collection in detail.

Café Ferdinand in Hamburg by Aerogram Studio
Text via Yatzer: "The young international design agency Aerogram Studio has designed the interior and identity for this retro-looking café in Hamburg, Germany. Overlooking the Jungfernstieg shopping street and the picturesque Binnenalster Lake, the Café Ferdinand which was commissioned by Vodafone, also occupies the first floor of the company’s new flagship store in the city. The client chose to name the café after Ferdinand Braun, the German inventor, physicist, Nobel laureate in Physics and pioneer of modern telecommunication."
