With this work, Catalonian artist Cinta Vidal Agulló (1982, Barcelona) wants to show that we live in one world, but we live in it in very different ways, playing with everyday objects and spaces, placed in impossible ways to express that many times, the inner dimension of each one of us does not match the mental structures of those around us.Check her exhibition at Miscelanea, Barcelna this week
"I do not remember the last time I left home without a notebook to draw what I see, notebooks where I try to reflect the complexity of human relationships from different perspectives. I never wanted to commit to a single style, even if that's the common thing to do: each new project, painting, illustration, client, idea... is thoroughly analysed and after that process, what should be told and how it should be told will arise."
Last year Playing Arts One project released a deck of poker playing cards showcasing the illustrations of 55 top illustrators and designers. This year brings a new edition, even more eclectic and powerful, with 55 artists from all over the world involved. Since the beginning of April, one card design appears daily at playingarts.com/two following by process insights and short interviews with the artists.

Singapore-based creative agency Kult commissioned over 50 artists from around the world to reinterpret classic movies.
At a time where the golden age of Hollywood seems to be a thing of the past and tired ideas are being rehashed, the team at Kult said they wanted to remember some of the classic films that influenced a generation. Featuring classics such as Jaws and Madmax through to Pulp Fiction and Silence of the Lambs, the collection is intended to inspire today’s generation to re-visit and discover some truly world-class movies. The illustrations were created for Kult magazine issue 16, titled Film which is being released in conjunction with new independent cinema The Projector, located at Singapore’s Golden Mile Complex. Poster prints are priced at SGD100 each and can be bought online.

Few times we posted Carter's works on our Instagram, now we get our hands on his portfolio full of drawings created from a coffee cup stains. Among his most impressive pieces are his graphite drawings of motorcycles and other vehicles that rest on drippy caffeinate circles. The contrast of his detailed renderings with the sloppy coffee tires never seems to get old.
Super talented Melissa Cooke draws so realistically that you would think her renderings are photographs. Instead of using pencil lines to outline her subjects and draft her compositions, she achieves incredible depth by dusting layers of graphite onto paper with a dry brush.
