50 artists reimagine classic film posters

Singapore-based creative agency Kult commissioned over 50 artists from around the world to reinterpret classic movies.

At a time where the golden age of Hollywood seems to be a thing of the past and tired ideas are being rehashed, the team at Kult said they wanted to remember some of the classic films that influenced a generation. Featuring classics such as Jaws and Madmax through to Pulp Fiction and Silence of the Lambs, the collection is intended to inspire today’s generation to re-visit and discover some truly world-class movies. The illustrations were created for Kult magazine issue 16, titled Film which is being released in conjunction with new independent cinema The Projector, located at Singapore’s Golden Mile Complex. Poster prints are priced at SGD100 each and can be bought online.
