'If You Really Love Nothing' is the latest single from Interpol's new album Marauder out on Matador Records on August 24th. Directed by Hala Matar and starring Kristen Stewart & Finn Wittrock
Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Interpol’s Paul Banks recently teamed up to record an album as Banks & Steelz. Ahead of debut LP Anything But Words, which is out August 28, they’ve dropped a handful of singles—“Speedway Sonora,” “Love + War,” and “Giant”—and now they’ve shared the “Giant” music video. Directed by Wendy Morgan, the video sees the pair wandering through back-alleys and abandoned homes as they perform the song. Watch it below.
Interpol's Daniel Kessler reveals music video for "Ocean Picture" from the side project Big Noble's album "First Light"
Last year, Interpol frontman Paul Banks directed his band’s boxing-focused video for “Twice As Hard,” a song from their album El Pintor. He’s now made another one, a black-and-white video for “Everything Is Wrong.” The clip follows the three members of Interpol around New York as they get ready for a show. I personally like the first few second when Paul gives an eye on his actual wife - supermodel Helena Christensen (the hottest teenage dream of my puberty due to her appearance in Wicked Games music video)
Interpol released the new video for the song "My Desire" Directed by Markus Lundqvist, the new music video really helps to enjoy the song. It tells the story of a man in his late 30s, depressed after a break up with his gorgeous girlfriend. So he chugs a bunch of whiskey and a pulls an easy girl who wants a drink from him
Interpol prepares to release El Pintor, their first album in four years on September 9 via Matador Records. Earlier this summer, they returned to form with the release of "All the Rage Back Home," and now continue to flex with their new track "Ancient Ways."
Interpol announced their forthcoming fifth album, El Pintor, last month, and followed that with a live video of album track “Anywhere,” which they’d actually debuted back in March (along with another new one, “My Desire”). So “All The Rage Back Home” is the technically the third song we’ve heard from El Pintor, but it’s the first single, and the first studio recording.
