Gorillaz releases new album ‘The Mountain, share short film
Gorillaz have released their ninth studio album, ‘The Mountain’, through their new label KONG.
Visual artist Jamie Hewlett has created the accompanying artwork, portraying the band’s time in India through a series of intricate hand-drawn illustrations, now presented both as a printed book and as a collection of 12×12 prints. He also co-directed a short eight-minute film titled ‘The Mountain, The Moon Cave, and The Sad God’, working alongside Max Taylor and Tim McCourt of the BAFTA-nominated London-based animation studio THE LINE.
