There’s nothing more depressing than places that used to be designated for fun which are now abandoned, exposed to decay and eternal loneliness. Amusement parks, for example. Or kindergartens. Or even bathrooms, or swimming pools where cheerful children used to laugh and splash. It’s this latter setting that Norwegian singer Farao has chosen for the video for “Bodies.” Starring two teen girls “Bodies” explores how strangely unsettling post-puberty can be—a maelstrom of conflicting, acutely felt emotions. 2. Nicolas Jaar Creates Soundtrack to Sergei Parajanov's "The Color of Pomegranates" 1969
The acclaimed New York-based musician Nicolas Jaar has uploaded a Soviet avant-garde film from 1969, called “The Color Of Pomegranates”, created by surrealistic director Sergei Parajanov (1924-1990) to Youtube along with his own original score. “The Color Of Pomegranates” is a biography of the Armenian ashug Sayat-Nova (King of Song) that attempts to reveal the poet's life visually and poetically rather than literally. Nicolas Jaar leveled up the whole story to the new surreal level by reworking the orginal sound with his soundtrack 'Pomegranates' (2015).

"I actually finished the EP last year around November, but it's just taken me a while to complete the videos and get my headspace together," she said when asked if she intentionally released a new song after her last planned performance at Lollapalooza. "And, you know, I just believe in doing things right... It's not a deliberate thing, it's just sometimes the planets align and it kind of works out that way."

Kedr Livanskiy - Sgoraet
Just in time of preparing Top Music Tracks of 2015 I found this Russian gem (thanks to Gorilla vs Bear early annual rating). Russian female composer and singer Kedr Livanskiy (English: "Lebanese Cedar") is inspired by Autechre, Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada, but with the lyrics and mood of Mazzy Star in her young age. No doubts she is my favourite finding now.
"The sinister synths in "Sgoraet" (English: "Burning Down") are inspired by the otherworldliness of Russian winter; Russia in winter is a terrible thing, but it also has a strange romantic presence to it. The drum and bass coda emulates the feeling of impending death and transition to another state when winter is over one's shoulder.
Baauer - GoGo!
Director Thomas Rhazi's video for Harlem Shake DJ Baauer's "GoGo!" chronicles the trajectory of a young couple's relationship through one lightening-speed backseat encounter.

In what is probably one of the more minimal music videos in recent years, the four members of Dutch band De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig stand in three repeated rows, wearing white, grey and black sweatshirts. Directed by Lernert & Sander.
