Prisma 1666 - Interactive Installation

The installation is a collaboration between Wonwei and Shanghai-based design studio Super Nature Design. It was first exhibited at the 2011 International Science and Art Exhibition in Shanghai where it received the Best Creative Design Award.

In 1666, Sir Isaac Newton conducted a famous experiment that has been widely considered as a landmark discovery in the study of optics and color theory. Inspired by this discovery, PRISMA1666 is an interactive light installation consisting of 15 triangular crystal blocks distributed randomly on a clean white surface. The projection of colorful graphics is refracted and dispersed by these crystal blocks, creating a fascinating visual experience and ambiance.

76 Synthesizer app

Last year we wrote about the concept of nearly perfect synthesizer for iPad developing by Jonas Eriksson. This days he has nailed down the demo version and made the first official release of an app "76 Synthesizer". From the visual point of view it is smooth and perfect, for everything else you can try it in action for as less as 2$ by visiting his official website.

During my last vacation trip to Paris I was lucky to spot the office of the world-renown agency Hellohikimori but had no good reason for an interview during our small chat with HKI founder, David Ronhel. I believe rare design office can brag of such an amazing location just two turns from Notre-Dame. And despite touristic brew outside the atmosphere in HKI headquarters was more than workaholic. For an instance Getty Images France were luckier and released a full version of HKI Interview. It worth to enjoy with other videos from "Talent Digital" project featuring famous designers and agencies.

What is Motion Design?

"Motion Plus Design" is a project which aims to create the first exhibition center dedicated to Motion Design in Paris, France.

This is a non-profit project. Students, professionals and anyone interested could discover artists, meet and learn. This centre will also provide an opportunity to promote artists in other design departments so the different graphic design worlds could cross.

Novum foldable cover

"Extremely colorful and foldable, the cover of German design magazine Novum was inspired by Richard Buckminster Fuller. Created by Hamburg-based agency Paperlux, the geometric cover allows readers to bend and fold the cover any way that they wish. More then 1,000 triangles were die-cut into the surface of the paper – more than 140 die cuts per cover." via Design Milk
