Shengsi, an archipelago of almost 400 islands at the mouth of China’s Yangtze river, holds a secret shrouded in time – an abandoned fishing village being reclaimed by nature. These photos by Jane Qing, a creative photographer based in Shanghai, take us into this lost village on the beautiful archipelago.

Emerging Russian industrial design talent Constantin Bolimond came up with a lamp design resembling a milk bottle. As a form follows famous Soviet milk bottle with a foil cap, it is recognisable abroad due to the fact almost everything in "soviet design" was adopted from outside.

Talented Russian illustrator Andrew Tarusov (that you might remember by "Soviet Olympics Pin-Up Calendar") released a series of pin-up cards created to celebrate the end of Games of Thrones. Even you never watched it or any TV serials like us, the pin-ups by Andrew's is a thing to admire.

Each cracked log lamp can be used as a stool, table, or simply a light accessory, and the pieces are available through a number of shops throughout Australia. " says Colossal

Google got a clever rebranding concept suggested by design student Dana Kim. Even it's a raw attempt to think different and most of graphics slides down a bit to the end of presentation, the main idea is very strong and plays around doubled O converted to browser input field. Wish all student rethink real cases we face on daily basis neither experiments with new forms.
