Frameworks One

What if displaying your favorite photos were more like playing your favorite vinyl records? A couple of Swedish designers want to introduce a similar ecosystem of “discs,” sleeves, and “players” to the world of photo frames. The idea is called the Frameworks One, a backlit frame for printed photos that can quickly be physically swapped in and out. Preorder it on Kickstarter

Jared Chambers Photography

"This american artist has an impressive talent and a great technique when it comes to shooting. Working as a lifestyle photographer and capturing essence of products for Nike or Lincoln cars, his talent does not go away when Jared tries to shoot scenes where nothing but nature is the master. And when he’s not busy creating master pieces out of silent hills or foggy mounts, he let his camera and his creative mind discover urban landscapes and beautiful portraits." Embaracing The Touch Chair Concept

Marija Puipaite Lithuanian designer inspired by physicality, in love with tangible matter and suffering from visual fetishism.Embracing the Touch is a project about designer’s relation with the works and designer’s presence in them. Design is a matter, tangible and desirable, that carries meaning in itself, in its body. It’s what you understand and experience through physicality. It’s like a garment that you can try on, see how it looks on you. The same way you project yourself through someone else.

Russian designers Maxim Ali and Constantin Bolimond created a small interactive lamp with cork plugs to control the amount of light coming out of a sphere. They called it Amstrong with no doubts linking the name with the Moon mission.

Goat Mug by Desnahemisfera

Goat is a practical and sustainable coffee mug, paying homage to the goats that discovered coffee. Its horn shape not only tells the original story of coffee but also helps you drink the last sip and makes you look good (I bet guys know the thing about Georgian festive tradition of drinking wine from horns). The leather holder simply turns into a coffee mug stand, so you can easily keep the mug on your desk. Designed by Slovenian Desnahemisfera studio and available for preorder on Kickstarter Project (just reserved one for myself:)
