Art on the Road

March 17, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Lifestyle, Motioncollector, Photography, 2016

Art on The Road is a project designed and created to provide a space in which to discover, promote and expose the passions and creativity of talented artists from all around the world. Based nowhere and everywhere, our community grows as we travel, find and share talent and passion along the road.

A journey around the world, crossing different cultures, telling the stories of people that chose to live their life expressing their creativity, their passion, their dreams. This project runs by collaboration and support. It is founded on the idea of exchange; Art on the road support the artists by producing a free short video portrait about them and their art, and provide an online spotlight channel for the complete artist video series. Artists then can use the portrait video as they wish to market themselves and their artwork, when they promote them self they are promoting the all project and all the other artists that are part of this community.

Kinematic Petal Dress

March 08, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Digital Art, Fashion, Motioncollector, Portfolios, USA, 2016

The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA) commissioned Nervous System to create a new dress for the exhibition #techstyle, which runs from March 6 through July 10, 2016. The exhibition explores the synergy between fashion and technology and how it is not only changing the way designers design, but also the way people interact with their clothing. Inspired by petals, feathers, and scales, we developed a new textile language for Kinematics where the interconnected elements are articulated as imbricating shells.

Skylight

February 23, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Motioncollector, 2016

"We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizon" - Konrad Adenauer

Chris Pritchard - "I’ve just released my new short film, Skylight. This timelapse film, presented in 4K, showcases some of the amazing sky shows I have been lucky enough to witness and capture over the years.

Whether in the city or a rural area, surrounded by nature or man-made things, the one constant is the sky. No matter our lifestyle or surroundings, we all share the same world above us. The sky holds the power to make a good view great, and to mesmerize us with the wonders of the world – within our atmosphere and beyond.

This film has been a long time in the making, and I am so happy to share this with the world and greatly appreciate everyone who takes the time to watch it, like it, or share it."

February 22, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Motioncollector, Photography, USA, 2016

"2015 was Ari Fararooy’s second trip in a row to Burning Man. While enjoying the mind blowing experience on the dusty playa, the photographer captured its unique light and even more unique people. Now Fararooy has animated the experience, tapping into the surreal aspects of Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, and using it to create an alternate reality of hypnotically moving images."

"Ash Thorp’s career is a continuous rotation of roles from designer to creative director. He is fueled by a tremendous internal drive to develop his own signature imprint on the industry. Ash then wrote and directed the main title for OFFF Barcelona 2014 alongside his close friend and acclaimed director, Anthony Scott Burns. In 2015, he was requested once again to assemble an international team of designers and create the title sequence for FITC Tokyo, which instantly gained monumental attention, including selection as a Vimeo Staff Pick.
