Windows of New York

Every week, Jose Guizar walks the streets of his city streets in New York and documents the neighbourhood windows. After picking out windows of interest, he takes them into illustrator and makes magic happen. In his own words: ” I'm into all kinds of visual things, sharing good stuff with great people, and apparently, staring creepily at windows.” Check out a selection of Jose’s windows after the jump, and follow along at windowsofnewyork.com

2D Honkey Kong by Chirstian Aslund

Swedish photographer Christian Åslund shot this Jim Rickey advertising campaign as a “tribute to classic 2D platform games and integrate the person with the street scenes”. Called ‘Honkey Kong’, Åslund shot these photos in Hong Kong using a tele lens, making the images appear flat—creating the feeling of the model navigating the streets on a 2D plane. via

"Belgian studio Soon has made a promotional stop-motion video for Twixl media. The clip is an interesting watch because it is fully typographic and illustrated with chalk by Kelly De Ceuninck, and Pieter Vanhoutte. Additionally, it has been creatively directed by Jim Van Raemdonck, and typography and art direction by Lee Skinner." via Illusion Scene 360
