Nikita Nomerz street art

"A street artist makes derelict structures come alive by adding eyes and facial features. Nikita Nomerz's work ranges from water towers painted to look like they're laughing to dilapidated buildings with broken window frames for eyes. Nomerz, from the western Russian city of Nizhniy Novgorod, travels around various cities in his homeland to carry out his art." Daily Telegraph

Zik Parrot by Starck

Famous for humanized and simplified ideas Philip Starck came up with the next one juxtaposed from digital culture and music behavior. Zik Parrot is a new handset with touch control - easy? Swipe down the touch pane on the headset and low the volume, swipe forward to skip to the next song. "It pauses the song if you take it off and instantly picks back up when you put it on, has 3 microphones and a bone conduction sensor for your calls and active noise cancelation, and even has an app to control it all. 4 years of work has gone into these.." adds Notcot editor. Recently shown up on CES Exhibition Zik Parrot gained good comments from visitors and plus for Philip's studio karma from us.

PressPausePlay film

PressPausePlay film that we watched at OFFF festival is available now on Vimeo and through PPP website.

"The digital revolution of the last decade has unleashed creativity and talent in an unprecedented way, with unlimited opportunities. But does democratized culture mean better art or is true talent instead drowned out? This is the question addressed by PressPausePlay, a documentary film containing interviews with some of the world's most influential creators of the digital era."

Polaboy frames

I got in to the Polaroid culture when I was ten with a proud colour one "Assembled in the USSR". This was a high times, today Swissmiss made a huge flashback and now I really want to install Polaboy frame featuring some of the photos from my past. Smart and simple idea and citing Swissmiss: "Polaboys are enlarged Polaroids to a scale of 10:1 (to 88x107cm) and backlit. They are 20 mm thick and use energy-saving LED area lights. The frame is wooden and they are made in Germany. Also good to know: The photographs can be changed at any time and you can even send your custom image."
