The beauty of the cars from the past revealed in this nice app. An experience designed like a digital, interactive museum, Road Inc. plunges the user into a universe of cars that have reached legendary status. The app is paid but I think it's worth of it.

Nokia GEM concept phone

We like crazy concepts especially when it comes to Nokia Concept Lab.

Nokia GEM which revolutionizes mobile design by turning the entire handset into a touchscreen.

The GEM device changes appearance from camera to phone or map according to the function selected by the user. It could even display advertising messages on the back of the phone.

The back and front are also interactive, making it possible to pinch and zoom the rear of the phone while getting a constant clear view of the image on the front.

They perform basic research with a strong focus on translating scientific results into pharmaceutical, agricultural and industrial applications. For their fifteenth anniversary, we did the entire event branding, for which we used only chalk and a huge blackboard. For this event we also designed a box with nine books in it. Lytro camera

The revolutionary camera lets you shoot everything you point it at, depth-of-field be damned, and allows you to "focus after the fact" in post-processing. My jaws literally falls out on a keyboard after I played with their refocus mechanism on examples gallery.

King's Folly by Ivan Venkov

“King’s Folly” an object by Slovakian artist and sculptor Ivan Venkov. Theme is polarity and statement – exploitation.

The composition polarizes the pure natural element, which resonates in black sculpt of the deer and the golden manifestation of allegorical cabinet, which aggregates elements of mundane ravishment.

Young Deer is landing on its front legs, whilst his body is drawn up in the motion of running, the body is cut in half and in the cut, a richly ornamented golden cabinet resides. The natural element presented in the deer does not fight the artificial parasitic presence of the golden cabinet. Its statement is infinite quietness.

Deer’s motion is eternal, the body is corrupted, but the principle carries the motion endlessly.

Silhouette and eclipse levitating lamps

Crealev company, creators of the levitating lamp, have designed two new floating lamps.

Silhouette lamp The lamps levitate and illuminate thanks to the latest LED and electromagnetic technology, which also means they are extremely low in power consumption. Available in two dimmable models, Silhouette and Eclipse, the Silhouette design is based on the iconic table lamp and contrasts ultramodern technology with an almost antique appearance.

Eclipse lamp The Eclipse, with a straight-sided shade and solid geometric form, is most reminiscent of this natural levitating phenomenon when viewed from above "yet, delicacy is incorporated in the design through the hand-blown glass foot."
