After enormous success on the blogosphere Nastya's works has been featured by Dazed-n-Confused, Buzzfeed, Wired and eve Time Magazine she decided to rollout the 5th instalment of Emojii Nation.
For their Street Eraser project artists Tayfun Sarier and Guus ter Beek (who both work at Wieden+Kennedy) created giant adhesive stickers that look like the eraser tool in Photoshop. Once applied to advertisements, graffiti and other objects it appears as if the surface is being erased, revealing Photoshop’s checkerboard background signifying a blank canvas.via Colossal
Paint Showers is beautiful animated short directed and animated by LA-based Miguel Jiron. Filmed back in 2011, the piece was made by photographing sequences of paint drips and splashes which were then set to sounds of rain creating an otherworldly thunderstorm of paint.via Colossal

"Deepti Nair and Harikrishnan Panicker (known collectively as Hari & Deepti) are an artist couple who create paper cut light boxes. Each diorama is made from layers of cut watercolor paper placed inside a shadow box and is lit from behind with flexible LED light strips. Miriam Elia's new take on a 1960s Ladybird book. Peter, Jane and Mummy go to a gallery and learn about sex, death and contemporary art. She successfuly ran first thousand prints through Kickstarter project but it is the Ladybird book publisher Penguin, rather than the art world, which isn't so happy about the project. We hope she resolve the legal issues this spring and we will have a chance to order the book from her website.
