Buildings Made of Sky by Peter Wegner

"Sometimes, all that’s required to take a standard photo and turn it into something special and unique is to flip your camera upside down. That’s what artist Peter Wegner did for his Buildings Made of Sky series, which features ‘skyscrapers’ outlined by the New York City streets when you flip your perspective." Take a step right or left. Wait a moment. It's all different and it's all the same. Mark Strand: "Each moment is a place you've never been."

Right Type for Eyewear

A Japanese designer Tota Hasegawa creates eyewear line from the two most famous and mainstream typefaces in the world: Helvetica and Garamond "Just as Helvetica is a font for the unpresumptuous, the Helvetica glasses are for people who don't want to be thought of as wearing glasses... The character of the Garamond glasses is quite different: they are for bookish intellectuals who revel in wearing a pair of specs" says Fast Co

Surreal photography by Ilya Kisaradov

The surreal images of Russian photographer Ilya Kisaradov (aka ezorenier) have a level of vulnerability to them that draws the viewer's attention and allows one to empathize with each character within the frame. The photographer's subjects often exhibit a sense of confinement and isolation in nature that is heightened through props like a birdcage or even one's own hair wrapped tightly over the subject's mouth. via Ilya-Kisaradov-9

Bitches Brew by Wedge & Lever

Awesome example of graphic and packaging design made by talented Wedge & Lever from San Diego. Apart from "Bitches Brew" identity that you can see below their portfolio is a must to explore and inspire.

A self-initiated project exploring the beer and wine category. For the brand story we created a fictitious narrative combined with historical facts from the Salem witch trials. From there we built out the brand and product line by integrating the occult theme into all aspects of this case study.
