"Luminaris is a recent stop motion short from Argentine director Juan Pablo Zaramella featuring some delightful sequences using shadows, lightbulbs, and marbles. The film tells the story of a man living in a world controlled and timed by light and the plan he hatches to escape. Luminaris won the Audience Award and Fipresci Award at Annecy 2011, and was included in the Oscars shortlist for Best Animated Short." via This is Colossal

Project Glass is a new technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. Now you information will be not only shared through desktops and mobile but directly from the human environment by using special spectacles. Project Glass is a concept of something like a Visual Apple Siri hence Siri is already working on fields, Google is just playing with huge data and information they own through Google Plus social network. But personally we like how Google made up this concept, check the video and enjoy the future (hopefully it is near) g.co/projectglass

Caitlin Hackett’s artwork analyzes the boundaries that separate humans from animals. “[...] these boundaries are warped by new scientific data, mythology, history and religious beliefs alike, blurring the lines between us as science, religion and culture clash over what it is to be human, and thus, what separates us from the beasts of the wild,” states Hackett.
Anthony Caseiro is French illustrator based in Madrid. His works are outstanding and I bet requires a huge painstaking job along with an artistic talent. Check his full set of "Blue Bic pen on paper" on Behance or personal Tumblr

A prove of "What does not kill us makes us stronger" saying: Russian extreme photographer with metal balls - Vadim Mahorov. He "goes to death-defying heights for the perfect shot. While the thrill of scaling buildings, towers and monuments is part of the allure, the dramatic aerial landscapes Vadim captures are absolutely breathtaking." http://dedmaxopka.livejournal.com
Vadim Kibardin is very close with production of his wall mounted LED version of digital alarm clocks "White&White" he designed in early 2009. The project was upgraded from Black&White version to White&White and simplified to a unibody (it had detachable items in his first version). Now available for pre-order from KibardinDesign website.
Dave Spengeler, a 22 years old graphic designer & illustrator from Switzerland reviewed the branding of famous brands to create their own logo in a new “old” version, featuring typographies and styles appreciated by what he calls the hipsters community. We love them, and don't look back on our DCN Logo it was also made to reflect modern trends, we never stop doing our identity - it is flexible.

"There's something incredibly liberating and majestic about this short animation from Brooklyn-based 3D artist and programmer Paris Mavroidis. Created while Mavroidis was pursuing his MFA in Digital Arts at Pratt Institute, "Divers" was inspired by the elaborate dance pieces of Busby Berkeley, mass gymnastics, and experimental cinema from the 20's and 30's." via Juxtapoz

Young Russian sculptor Alexey Morosov held a solo exhibition in Russian Museum in Saint-Petersburg titled "Antologia" that included 48 of his works.
"The heroes that are marked by inspired beauty and imposing harmony seem to be protecting themselves from the threat of invisible aggressive force in the most part of presented works. The high skill of execution, natural combination of tradition and innovation, canonical and spontaneous helps Aleksey Morozov to discover the new possibilities of plastic language of the Antique Art and to emphasize the eternal significance of its humanistic ideals." was stated in museum's press release.
Morozov believes that European civilization must more often refer to the past, and revisit its positions towards allegory, myth and historical scenes in order to discover a new meaning. The art of Alexey Morozov proves that classical forms have not died, and that traditions andinnovations may well coexist.
