Brosmind and Upper First redefined the format, mixing cinema, illustration and 2D/3D animation with paper, adding to their highly anticipated video a double-feature comic book that was given for free, alongside plastic masks with the face of the characters, to a crowd that enjoyed all the presentation feeling that they were the real protagonists of the party.

Pity we had not visited "Mad In Spain" festival this year as we did in 2011. MAD2012 took a place (literally yesterday) on 13-14 April in Madrid. I bet this was a wonderful festival featuring Stefan Sagmeister, Aaron McBride, Jordi Bares, Nando Costa, Mario Eskenazi, Cuban Council, Vitaly Friedman, Randy J. The hidden/double meaning illustration from spaniard Nacho Diaz reminds me the comedy illustrations by Glenn Jones. Having a special touch for character design Nacho creates amazing pieces of illustrations with creativity and originality that combines quality and humor.
