Designcollector is visiting OFFF 2013 Festival this week (6-8 June) and happy to announce that The Digital Decade exhibition (15 selected posters from Designcollector's Ten Years competition) will happen there in DHUB Venue during the opening hours. We will try to cover OFFF2013 Live through our Instagram account @designcollector. [box]OFFF, is the International Festival of digital culture and design born in 2000 in Barcelona. After 13 years of extensive experience has become the largest gathering of digital creativity in the world with the presence of the best artists of each discipline.[/box]
The event will take place in the Disseny Hub Barcelona, the next June 6 7 and 8. It repeats scenario in Barcelona to stay indefinitely to enhance the valuable talent of the city. The rest of the year OFFF travells around the world spreading inspiration under the name OFFF on Tour.
The festival's hallmark is its format. Through a careful program of conferences the artists not only expose the Side A of their projects, but they reveal the secrets of their creative processes to make known the way they reach the final piece. In this way the creations and techniques these innovators expose in each edition represent the basis on which creative and graphic lines are drawn, from which early adopters of these fields take to become new trends.
OFFF get ahead to reveal all is about to come in the near future in advertising, film, music, television and editorial art. So anyone who wants to keep abreast of the most vibrant and transgressive creativity knows OFFF is a must. For this reason, trend scouts, professional and non-expert professionals come to soak and discover innovators in most avant-garde creativity.

[box]The Digital Decade by designcollector Together with DepositPhotos and OFFF Festival, Designcollector started a Graphic Design competition called "The Digital Decade". Artists were invited to use images from Depositphotos to produce graphic works of art related to the topic "the Digital Decade." Winners selected by a qualified Jury, the best 15 works will exhibit at OFFF 2013 Venue. [/box]
Show us your type: SHOW US YOUR TYPE is an online magazine about typography and cities. At OFFF Barcelona they are presenting a special edition.They have invited designers around the world and the same Offf Fest speakers to design a poster that contain aside 4 words OFFF, Showusyourtype, BARCELONA and 2013. Of the nearly 200 proposals received, they have made a selection of about 40 pieces to be exhibited during the festival.
