Caroline Morin illustrations

November 10, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Fashion, Illustration, Instagram, Portfolios, France, 2016

Caroline Morin is a French illustrator and photographer based in Nantes. She has developed a feminine and refined universe mixing delicate sketches, interplay of lights and shadows and fashion inspiration. Her drawings with non-existent faces intrigue and take us in an outstanding world where beauty meets strangeness. Using negative space, clean lines, and a limited colour palette, her portraits of young women are seemingly weightless and effortless, a true breath of fresh air in a culture otherwise filled to the brim with visual clutter.

November 04, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Instagram, Japan, Portfolios, Photography, 2016

"Tokyo is often associated with the word “dense”, which isn’t surprising considering its status as one of the most populated metropolises in the world; the Japanese capital is a massive melting pot of subcultures and a place where one can find all the latest and hottest trends of Asia. Yoshito Hasaka is one of the millions living in the bustling city. Working as a full-time designer and iOS engineer, his free time is often spent exploring the nooks and crannies of this city with his camera." Read more on VSCO

Concept photography by Peechaya Burroughs

September 26, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Australia, Instagram, Portfolios, Photography, 2016

We love Peechaya's minimalistic approach to create perfectly balanced image every time she has a new idea often spiced by some double meanings.

“My photographs mainly consist of things that I create or manipulate by hand. Occasionally I use Photoshop when enhancing the idea and presentation of an image fits well. Driven by childhood memories and very much fascinated by children’s imagination and their quirkiness, the direction of my photography is light, easy to approach with a little touch of everyday optimism.”

Illustrators respond to #stylechallenge on Instagram

August 04, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Illustration, Instagram, 2016

A new challenge caused a wave on Instagram among illustrators and artist. The idea behind #stylechallenge is simple - artist is asked to draw auto-portraits using different styles from comix, tv-serials or even established artists. As a hashtag become more cluttered last days we selected the best from it

Our favourite is from London-based artist T.S ABE

Tasha Alakoz

June 20, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Fashion, Lifestyle, Instagram, Motioncollector, Photography, Portfolios, Russia, 2016

Millennial's new media artist Tasha Alakoz based in St Petersburg works easily with commercial brands vanishing them in her personal way of colourful fashion selfies. We adore this balance that definitely requires a lot of will power and creativity and hope to see her speaking about that experience on some festivals like OFFF.

Colour Hunter Ramin Nasibov

June 19, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Architecture, Germany, Photography, Instagram, Portfolios, 2016

Following the recent publication in the Guardian we reveal our latest favourite Instagram photographer and Berlin-based designer Ramin Nasibov.

“Berlin-based graphic designer Ramin Nasibov began photographing hidden patterns in buildings after he noticed pockets of colour hiding among the city’s grey skyline. “You won’t believe it, but colourful architecture can be found in any city,” he says. “Even the most well-known architectural sight can be shown from an absolutely new corner.” Originally from Baku, Azerbaijan, Nasibov cites the crisp and striking aesthetic of Wes Anderson as an inspiration. “The three key properties for me are minimalism, symmetry and vibrant colours. Capturing these elements allows people to see old buildings from a new perspective.”

Tokyo of Liam Wong

April 25, 2016 by Arseny Vesnin in Instagram, Japan, Photography, Portfolios, 2016

"The hustle and bustle of the city somehow seems to become more beautiful when the sun goes down.Photographer Liam Wong experienced this firsthand and decided to capture the night time in Tokyo with the power of his lens. The just rained-on streets reflect the bright lights leaving a surreal quality to his work. Using a green or pink tone, the lights appear to be completely ingrained in the city’s atmosphere. Each photo offers a different perspective on the city, whether it be a detail shot of the city’s people or a bird’s eye view of the streets."
