UI Packs by Vladimir Kudinov

Vladimir Kudinov is a super bright UI talent and an example of a good self promotion. How this works he has thousands of appreciations and tons of views on his projects? A simple answer is to do something useful and share it for free or even later for two bucks. Recently Vladimir created a two packs of custom carved and shaped UI design elements suitable for any middle-weight web or mobile project: Futurico and Impressionist. Check them all on http://vladimirkudinov.com/ together with nice design project shipped with Vladimir's crisp style.

Mulheres Barbadas have updated their website with tons of new stuff. They still make their work available so people can download and use freely, but now its in a downloads section so its easier to find. Tons of monochromatic drawings, check it out!

Mulheres Barbadas, aka the Bearded Ladies, are Henrique Lima and Julio Zukerman. Working together based in São Paulo since 2007, the illustration duo joined forces to fill empty spaces with monochromatic doodles. Today their work varies between digital mediums, murals, drawings on paper and on different objects, always with too much information and too little colors.

Keep Calm and Carry On – The story

We all know that Keep Calm and Carry on poster. But ever wondered where did it come from? Barter Books, the bookstore behind the revival of this poster edited a video explaining its history, from the original poster to the iPhone App they just edited. The iPhone App is in fact free for a limited time, so grave it while you can on the App Store.
