Source: Films of Fashion

"Films have been an integral part of fashion marketing for sometime now but recently we're seeing them taking a much more prominent role in fashion retail. Films of Fashion is a new website that aims to archive the world's largest collection of fashion films. Chanel Paris-Édimbourg Métiers d'Art 2012/13

The über-talented art director and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld did it again. The "creative marriage" of Queen of Scots and Queen of Fashion made by Karl went awesome in his new collection for Chanel Paris-Édimbourg Métiers d'Art 2012/13. It seems there were no three centuries between Mary Stuart and Coco Chanel, hand in hand they made a cat-walk in Linlithgow Palace formal residence of Queen Mary. Watch the triumph of tartan and lace, leather and anti-stilettos..

The Outer Child by Cristian Girotto

Without bothering Jung and its "Puer aeternus" or Pascoli with its "Little Boy", we can certainly agree that, somewhere inside each of us, there's a young core, instinctive, creative but also innocent and naïve. Check the personal project of Cristian Girotto "L' Enfant Extérieur" (The Outer Child) where he did an impressive retouch on Quentin Curtat's photography.

Traces by Abbie Stephens

Inspiring video created to mark the launch of Spanish designer Emilio De La Morena's SS13 collection, Abbie Stephens' film plays light against dark to accentuate the textural details and silhouettes across the range. Drawing inspiration from the themes of memory and perception that Emilio used as the basis for his new pieces, Abbie creates and inverts worlds to play with the line between imagination and reality.

Watch as Minnie embarks on a fantastical fashion adventure in Paris, where she walks the runway in Lanvin and rubs elbows with fashion-world figures like Linda Evangelista, Daphne Guinness, Naomi Campbell, Lady Gaga and many more."

"The inspiration can come from anywhere, i find beauty in most things. A lot of my work is generated from fashion imagery, but i love to create my own ideas from other areas of interest such as music, film, the natural world, past fashions, dreams and utopian worlds."
