I am not sure if you are familiar with Russia-born startup Lapka. Briefly speaking they produce tiny, beautifully designed personal environment monitor that connects to your phone to measure, collect and analyze the hidden qualities of your surroundings. Their latest addition to the family was a breathalyzer BAM. But what we are going to share is their proof of concept made for the well-known Project Ara, the new modular mobile device. Citing Lapka "At Lapka, we reimagine and redesign the scientific devices to turn them into stylish and accessible tools. Our products are healthcare accessories which connect to your smartphone. What if Lapka creates a separate line of these accessories in order to support Ara’s eco-system? Here is our concept of Project Ara modules."
"..we’ve imagined seven modules based on Lapka’s current and possible product line following our Environment + Body grid."

Seems Norway can't stop being the most expensive country in Europe they need more attention. Last time they drew it with innovative Money Banknotes design and not long ago they released a new update of the National Passport design.Oslo based studio Neue won the competition by giving a modern, simple, but still attractive new design as a result. Titled ”The Norwegian Landscape,” this design shows nature as the “essential part of the Norwegian identity and tradition” as Neue Design Studio puts it.

We are obsessed with awesome interior examples and here is the new one to explore. Amos and Amos have recently completed the design of a new office in Clerkenwell, London for global ideas and innovation company AKQA. Amos and Amos have referenced London’s historic docks and warehouses for the interiors of new London offices designed for global ideas and innovation agency AKQA. Amos and Amos rose to the challenge of working with a client with exceptionally high standards and a willingness to take risks in order to achieve something original. The result is a richly layered and textured space where almost everything has been custom made – a unique working environment for AKQA in the world of often standardised office design.
Ajaz Ahmed, Founder and CEO of AKQA said: “Amos and Amos have created a soulful new home for our team in London. AKQA’s new space encourages collaboration, creativity and agility. It is a workspace where creativity abounds and represents the adaptive and flexible way in which our teams create.”
