It's really hard to select best music videos from the tons of seen and published material we got this year. For sure a lot of nice pieces left behind just because we can't cover everything happening in music industry but at least we try it on our Musicollector flow as well as on its Vimeo Channel and Soundcloud blog. The most talented Russian electronic composer and musician Roma Litvinov best known as Mujuice is back with a new acid trippy music video released to support new album Planetarium

This video is made out of bits and pieces of my trips and experiences. There is no specific narrative, — all of it is made from scraps of what I filmed in LA and along the Pacific coast. I like working with scattered materials, putting them together again and again like pieces of the puzzle.

Panda Bear - Boys Latin

After one first single, simply titled "Mr. Noah" the panda is back with the trippy ‘Boys Latin’. The video directed by Isaiah Saxon and Sean Hellfritsch is an anime shows a dude having some kind of pixellated flowers growing on him. Panda Bear‘s first solo album, Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper will be out in January 2015

Röyksopp - Skulls

"Skulls" was the first track taken from the album "The Inevitable End", a song that comes with an invitation and a stark warning, set amongst squelchy bass lines and filtered synths. Norwegian director and long time collaborator Stian Andersen made the haunting black and white film that accompanies the song.

It follows the ominous journey of Svein and Torbjørn with friends and 83 year-old Adolf into dark woods and dark places.

Lorde - Yellow Flicker Beat

Lorde's "Yellow Flicker Beat" is the first single from the Hunger Games: Mockingjay soundtrack (which Lorde also curated). Today is the singer's eighteenth birthday, and to mark the occasion, she's shared the video for the song, directed by Emily Kai Bock. via Pitchfork

The Fader Magazine: "Speaking to this idea, director Yoann Lemoine described his creative process for us: "I used a DIY 3D scan system that rebuilds models from multiple still images, and what we call camera mapping, and played with this material in my computer. The reality pictured in this video only exists in the computer I used to create the piece. I loved the idea of humans golden like objects, like pieces of furniture. I treated them with the same precious care we treat Jewels. I wanted to question the limits of incarnation, of organic versus digital, creating a piece that was equally beautiful and intense. OK GO - I Won't Let You Down

When I hear "Ok Go just released new video", I stop doing anything I was doing before and rush to the screen. Bless their cameraman and creators OK GO did it again! "This time the Chicago four-piece are on board motorised Honda unicycles for a routine performed with colourful umbrellas and hundreds of extras. It was captured in one single shot at Japan's Chiba Prefecture using a custom "multi-copter camera". Singer Damian Kulash and Kazuaki Seki directed the video, with creative direction by Morihiro Harano." via DT

Interpol released the new video for the song "My Desire" Directed by Markus Lundqvist, the new music video really helps to enjoy the song. It tells the story of a man in his late 30s, depressed after a break up with his gorgeous girlfriend. So he chugs a bunch of whiskey and a pulls an easy girl who wants a drink from him

Brunettes Shoot Blondes - Knock Knock

What happens when a band gets its hands on six iPhones, four iPads, one iPod and three MacBooks? Ukrainian musicians Brunettes Shoot Blondes used their collection of Apple hardware to tell a story "Knock Knock" about an adorable big-eared creature jumping around the screens to catch up with a girl who doesn’t seem to be very fond of him — at first, at least. via

SBPCh - Нельзя Сказать Короче

Russian psychedelic electronic band SBPCH (new album) has teamed up with director Pavel Samokhvalov for a wild 3D ping pong experiment. Filled with bouncing emoji’s, golden statues and a lot of magenta, this film was made little to no budget. Samokhvalov: “Everyone worked on the idea - my friend Andrey Artemov, designer of Walk Of Shame, was a costume designer, Liza Serpova is a model who came straight from London just to run in front of the camera, Dima Pustovoytov made a 3D pearl sea and the editor Max Kolodiets managed to get inside my mind and organize all the chaos there.” via Dazed

Official video for Spoon's new song, Inside Out featured in the album They Want My Soul. The idea of this piece wanders around the concept of hacked memories, to achieve this effect Mau Morgo experimented with digital image errors and glitches, as if someone was manipulating our brain making us forget and imagine new impossible scenarios.

The new music video for Röyksopp and Robyn's "Monument" is a cosmic voyage through other worlds and dimensions, centered around an illuminated ceremony. In the seven-minute clip, the viewer floats above and around the Scandinavian pop legends, inspiring the feeling of a gravityless realm—all thanks to a specialized spider camera.
