As you know DCN is always keen to listen new music or even create its own podcast (not update for some time). Our own exhibition was not left without music too. During Digital Decade opening night our event producers Youth Worldwide invited Ben Paul to heat up the night
Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Interpol’s Paul Banks recently teamed up to record an album as Banks & Steelz. Ahead of debut LP Anything But Words, which is out August 28, they’ve dropped a handful of singles—“Speedway Sonora,” “Love + War,” and “Giant”—and now they’ve shared the “Giant” music video. Directed by Wendy Morgan, the video sees the pair wandering through back-alleys and abandoned homes as they perform the song. Watch it below.
The electronic duo Is back, as brooding as ever, and elevating their visuals to new heights. Filmed in the Salton Sea, long since dried up, the video sees band members Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter walk amongst deserted homes as motocross bikers fly through the air and digitized waves reach epic heights. There's also plenty of unexplained latex involved. The music video's dark undertones come courtesy of director Grant Singer, who has spent the last year working with The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.
"You Don't Get Me High Anymore" is the lead single off Phantogram's forthcoming album, Three.
During one of my creative talks at a festival I was faced with a question "Why there is no female motion artists featured in your mashup?", being a feminist I was so much frustrated with this awkward moment of saluting male-generated industry. Bless we have projects like GIF (Girls in Film) we I spotted freshly done music video produced by James Blake for TRIM and directed by ultra talented London-based artist Natalia Stuyk (previously)

After hopping on the phone with BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac to premiere the first single from what will apparently be her last album, M.I.A. has now released the video for "Go Off." The new album, A.I.M., will apparently be M.I.A.'s cleanest and least controversial yet. "I just want it to be happy," she said. "There's no complaints on it. There's another side to me completely; I don't know if people know that."

British electronic producer Jamie xx has enlisted director Romain Gavras for a new video for his chart-busting track "Gosh". Reportedly made without the help of CGI or 3D effects, the MIA and Kanye West collaborator created a dystopian city (shot in infamous Chinese abandoned satellite city Tianducheng filled with a tracksuit-wearing bleached blonde army.
Started in 2012 his majesty the Glitch trend went through all possible states of art and digital culture, and believe or not it is coming to the end very soon. Here we spotted a strong outpost created by denial.of.service for Rawtekk's "Here’sToThem"
"Midnight; amidst a dream — reality folded over to reveal a world of vivid mystery. Our eyes lay closed in still darkness, yet mind is alive - painting pictures we thought we could never possibly see. "
“Take fhe Form” serves as the latest instalment in the avant-garde creative label, Mask Movement’s genre-pushing discography. '0000' steps up as a unique collaboration between Ukrainian audio-visual innovator ‘Histibe’ and Australian underground bass maestro ‘Commit’. The composition takes to the screen with a compelling, surrealist depiction of the human mind’s unconscious — a place of interpretation, a narrative-less canvas where even our most unexpected memories resurface, intermingling abstraction with reality.
In 0000, we follow the protagonist into a thin, grey fog, in which he recounts flashbacks of a dream he once had. Meanwhile, a background of deep, mid-bass snarls and pulsing sub-bass act to enshroud a sense of mystery and a cyberpunk-inspired bleakness, simultaneously drenching the audio-visual experience in a sickeningly thick and weighted mood palette. Be prepared to enter the rabbit hole; three and a half minutes of a spun-out, technoid journey into the surrealist abyss. Think Lynch and Pollock meets bass, in fact just think…
