Trentemøller - Nightfall

September 18, 2024 by Arseny Vesnin in 2024

Trentemøller returns with Dreamweaver, a 10-track album showcasing his signature blend of dark, atmospheric soundscapes with a psychedelic twist.

Featuring vocals from Disa, the album opens with the haunting “A Different Light” and drifts through the hypnotic “Nightfall” before hitting the intense noise rock of "Behind My Eyes."

Balancing between serene moments like "Empty Beaches" and the dynamic "In A Storm," Dreamweaver is both familiar and fresh, pushing Trentemøller’s sound into new, exciting territory.

Trentemøller - Like A Daydream

February 11, 2022 by Arseny Vesnin in 2022

Trentemøller’s new album 'Memoria' seems to exist at the confluence of inspiration, coincidence, and maybe even a little bit of the supernatural. On 'Like A Daydream' Lisbet Fritze's earnestly delivered vocals are buoyed up by carillon guitar, tethered to a relaxed drum shuffle, by a progression of bass chords.

TOM And His Computer - Future Ruins

May 11, 2020 by Arseny Vesnin in 2020

Known for his retro-futuristic noisy edginess as heard on the ‚Small Disasters‘ and ‚Playing In The Night‘ EPs, TOM And His Computer is now releasing "Future Ruins".

The title track is a postapocalyptic song cumulating in a noisy guitar-explosion, contrasted by Roxy Jules bittersweet vocals, while 'The Darkness Within' on the B-side plays with interesting synthie and guitar layers. Both songs have been co-produced and mixed by Trentemøller.

'Future Ruins' is accompanied by a fascinating video directed by Martin Garde Abildgaard

Trentemøller - Deceive

May 23, 2014 by Arseny Vesnin in 2014

Trentemøller's ‘Deceive’ (from "Lost" album) features a wonderfully hypnotic vocal from Sune Rose Wagner of Scandi-gazers The Raveonettes, and a video that studies the movements and majesty of a horse by Danish artist Andreas Emenius.
