"Japanese design office Nendo has created 9 different types of chocolate. While each of them are the same size, not a single piece from the Chocolatexture ( created for the Maison & Objet Trade Fair) collection look alike. That’s because Oki Sato, who leads the Tokyo and Milan-based firm, rethought the concept of chocolate by focusing on texture. “There are many factors that determine a chocolate’s taste,” says Sato, referring to factors like the origin of cocoa, the percentage used, and the various different flavors. But by instead turning his attention to attributes like pointy, smooth and rough, the designer has created distinctive chocolates that all use identical ingredients but taste completely different due to the various textures." writes Colossal

3D Printed Textscape project by Hongtao Zhou
3D Printing brings new opportunities for creative persons, just take a look at typography project created by Hongtao Zhou. Textscape generates letter-sized 3D documents to visually profile the subject matters of the texts, such as cities, landscapes or figures. These documents make reading interactive for a general audience or blind people to read as knowledge, as well as art. This series of work has text variations of braille, language characters, calligraphy and number systems to bridge the text and its visuality in architecture, landscape, portraits and abstract matters.

Citing Lapka "At Lapka, we reimagine and redesign the scientific devices to turn them into stylish and accessible tools. Our products are healthcare accessories which connect to your smartphone. What if Lapka creates a separate line of these accessories in order to support Ara’s eco-system? Here is our concept of Project Ara modules."

He takes an initial photo with his "polaroid"-like camera Instax mini 8 and then brings it to the Instagram in its natural environment with no tricks and mocks. Our new addition to Interior Design Gallery is London's Artist Residence opened during 2014 in a mid-19th-century listed building in Pimlico which was renovated over the course of a whole year and decorated by its two young owners, hoteliers Justin Salisbury and Charlotte Newey. "Following an ‘‘eclectic luxury’’ approach that combines vintage design with contemporary art, Charlotte and Justin have filled the hotel with original art prints and vintage objects sourced in galleries and antique shops across the UK and Europe. Dark Matter by Jonathan Turner
A digital ode to artist Pierre Soulages. Last year in Rodez, southern France, 95-year-old French artist Pierre Soulages was honored with the opening of a rust-adorned museum in his name. Celebrated for an unconventional approach to painting using only black paint, artist manipulates the spectrum of light bouncing off the surfaces of his works, in turn conceiving a new shade of his own, "outrenoir" (meaning: “beyond black”).
Inspired by this abstract oeuvre, the New York-based visual artist and director Jonathan Turner creates an ode to Soulages, conceiving a hallucinogenic digital world that is scored by the maniacal beats of Dutch E. Germ.
